Just so everyone knows, this item came damaged. However, the damage was very minor, and as I already have purchased a cover to go over and protect this freezer, I decided to just keep it instead of going through the hassle of doing a return. As for the freezer itself, it’s very energy efficient to the point that there’s no noticeable difference in my electric bill. It fits perfectly in the space I had at the end of my cabinets. However, I’m going to be remodeling my kitchen, so my refrigerator is going to be placed where this freezer is. I’ll be expanding the width of my pantry and adding an electric outlet there, so it’ll be placed inside the pantry itself, completely out of sight. This chest freezer holds a surprising amount of food for being only 7 cubic feet. Runs extremely quiet. Upon initial plug-in, the freezer came down to temperature in about 20 minutes. I expected it to take much longer considering that it had been moved around. I really like having it. I’m single, but despite having a fairly large freezer in my LG Refrigerator/freezer, I was still emptying it out in slightly over a week’s time, as most of the stuff I eat is frozen. The extra space gives me a better selection of meals to pick from. I’m planning to add an additional chest freezer on my large covered Lani behind my home. I may buy a slightly larger Frigidaire for that as well. I’m giving this freezer 5 stars because, although slightly damaged, that’s obviously no fault of the freezer itself, which is what this review is about. Delivery however, gets only 1 star. Delivery of Amazon purchases has gotten extremely BAD. With as many porch pirates that are out there, you’d think that by now, the delivery companies could AT LEAST ring the doorbell when they drop off a package. Apparently that’s asking too much, even though the doorbell’s right there smack in front of them. I guess expecting the doorbell to go “ding-dong” when a package arrives is asking a bit too much. They can take the time to take a picture of the products sitting at my door, but that doorbell thing is apparently a step too far. Especially when it comes to large items like a chest freezer that was left blocking the outside of my front door.

I got the 10 cubic foot version of this product. It is quite literally perfect. It works precisely as it should. You unpack it, plug it in, check the setting dial, and it starts working. I love it that this freezer has a simple, easy to understand analog dial and not some complicated "press and guess" digital menu. The cooling is robust; this unit will freeze everything just the way it is supposed to. Rugged and basic; everything you need, nothing you don't. This is one of my best purchases in recent years. I was super skeptical buying this online. I did a few days of research on other sites and on here. This shipped quickly and works as intended. I made sure that I looked for metal latches that wouldn’t break. I’ve had it for 3 months Great quality, stays cold. Love the size. Just me and my daughter and we have plenty of room to spare.

Great little freezer for “overflow” items like ice cream and bread. My huge refrigerator/freezer always seems to run out of room after I stock up on bread and/or ice cream. This was the perfect solution for a great price. It’s quiet and it does an excellent job of FREEZING! Try it!

So far so good. Working well. My only complaint is a dent in the front above the control.

So far, I’ve kept this freezer in a room kept at 75 degrees and haven’t opened the door after initially loading it (it’s been about 5 days now. It runs for 8 minutes (give or take a minute), then is quiet for 13 minutes (give or take a minute). This seems like a lot to me, but I’ve never had a chest freezer before so I reached out to Frigidaire for help. They routed me to Curtis International who opened a support ticket and called me back a couple days later. My question to this Curtis representative was “how frequently should my freezer be running in a room kept at 75 degrees?”… they informed me that the freezer is garage ready. I rephrased my very clear question and was informed that the freezer should be able to keep things cool when stored in 0-100 degree weather. I tried to rephrase my question and very clearly state that the freezer is functioning, but I’m trying to find out how frequently it should be running… I got more generic information about the freezer. I went back to Frigidaire hoping they could put me in the ballpark, but this time they weren’t even interested in the question and simply insisted that I can get the info from Curtis International. In the end, I had the thought “I can’t wait until AI takes over these jobs” and then realized, I have access to Copilot which has been pretty helpful (though not 100% reliable). So I asked copilot, and it seems that this runtime is normal, but I’m still giving 1 star because of the horrendous customer service. It’s been a month or so now and I wanted to add that this thing builds up frost really fast. I hardly ever open it, but there’s already a significant frost layer near the top.

This deep freezer is amazing quality five stars, functional five stars and never on empty.

Very nice little freezer. Works exceptionally well. Very cold and extremely quite. Sets between our two recliners in our fifth wheel and can't even hear it run. Doubles as an end table. Seems to work very well in temperature range of 20 to 76 degrees. Outside those temps I can't say but it is a garage model made for temp fluctuations.

Quality item, looks great, quiet operation, easy to clean, awesome product! Downside was that it took over a month to receive.

Freezer came well packed, good size for apartment. Freezes well

Item was delivered by two delivery people with care. Brought freezer in and unpacked it. Freezer was in great condition. Currently have a fridge/freezer issue which prompted me to purchase this freezer. So far this freezer works great.

Packaged well. A good smaller size without being tiny. Quiet as well. And not very heavy.
