I bought this for my 6.5 year old daughter. She loves music and I thought it could give her a taste of learning to play guitar. It’s well made and adorable. The booklet that comes with it is phenomenal. It’s simple enough for a child (maybe not as young as 3-4, but gives a kid the ability to easily learn songs they’re familiar with. She eventually asked to take “real” guitar lessons and has had great success. The TinkerTar gave her a solid foundation to begin with and was a great investment to see if learning the guitar was truly something she had a desire for.

These are so cute! I bought several styles. My kids enjoy them. We have had at least one for a few years and I felt the best age for these are kindergarten/ first grade.

I love this sweet little guitar! It's the perfect little size. It even comes with a guitar strap and extra strings! Theres also a music book and an instruction manuel on how to change the string and set the tuner key. Excellent price! Made of wood! Beautiful colors! Lightweight and easy to handle!

I’m an elementary music teacher and a lot of my colleagues have purchased these for their classrooms for their Kindergarten and youngest students. I personally bought one for my almost 3 year old son to try out. Amazing price and value in my opinion. I do wish the tuning peg was a little more secure, but that’s easily fixable. I also wish the color coding was more standardized for classroom use, but understanding that is not the main customer base. Great product.

All my kids love this guitar, 7yrs, 5yrs, 1yr and they are starting to understand how to actually play the songs. Pretty great simple way to get them started. I wish the tuner locked because kids are always obsessed with twisting the tuning pegs on instruments and I'm always having to adjust it.

I purchased this for my little cousin. I was familiar with Rockbridge Guitars because they started in my hometown. It’s a great little instrument. My 4 year old cousin wasn’t overwhelmed and learned quickly how to depress the string and choose different colors to make different sounds. He was thrilled. His father helped him and he even played it for a while! You do need to adjust the string and even tighten the screw on the nut to tighten. No big deal. You do need to tune it occasionally. It’s super cute and a lot of fun. Great first instrument that doesn’t overwhelm a child. There are YouTube videos and more song info on the internet. Bravo Rockbridge Guitars!
