Review: A great alternative to the Osprey Stratos. - I LOVE this backpack. Love it. Here was my wish list: I wanted a daypack that was small (18-24L) and light, with a real frame and waist belt, that would also allow for some breathability. I get hot really quickly due to a medicine I take, but I didn't want something as big as the Osprey Stratos (which is an amazing pack in and of itself, but the incredible suspension system makes it look like you think you are hiking the AT), and this is a perfect compromise. I'm not sweating as much, but I also don't look like an astronaut trying to find his way back to the space shuttle. This size (and likely the 20L beneath it) are perfect for a regular use daypack. I can get everything I need in there, even accounting for the bend of the vented back panel, and I am a huge fan of the Gregory hydration system that pairs so well with this bag. There's a convenient hook right in the bag that holds the bladder. The zippers are high quality, and this blue colorway is better looking than anything I saw walking around REI. It's pricy, but I have no regrets about this purchase, and am already hiking more because I love this bag so much.
Review: Worth the expense for a great pack - Figure I'll leave a brief review now that I've put about 100 hard miles on this pack. After trying some lower end packs that always left me sore and uncomfortable I decided to try the gregory. It was worth every penny in my opinion. I regularly do 15-20 mile hikes with up to 6,000+ feet of elevation gain and not once have I been burdened or left sore from this pack. Where others lack support and comfort, the zulu has never left me sore or fatigued. My only two slight issues with it would be that for a leaner build, the hip belt barely has enough adjustment. I have it tightened as far as I can, and it works, but just. Plenty of adjustment for bigger builds. The other being the frame can sometimes be a little cumbersome for climbing ledges where you need to move your whole body In weird ways. (Though I probably shouldn't be rock climbing with a pack this big anyways) I love everything else about it. The storage, the zippers, the padding. Everything has held up great and I'm not easy on things. Great pack, worth the extra $

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bag. Doesn’t include rain cover !!!
*by D***O on April 14, 2025*

Great bag. Seems really durable with great materials. Spacious and many pockets. Didn’t give 5 starts because lacks big feature -> rain cover. DOESN’T include the rain cover as previous Zulu bag.
