If you aren't a coffee snob and primarily use creamer in your coffee, these beans are great and affordable. I've repurchased so many times.

The coffee is excellent. Delicious. Rich, full-bodied flavor. However, the packaging needs improvement. When you try to open the package the adhesive is so resistant that the bag tears before the adhesive gives way.

Makes a great mug of strong coffee with a good taste and aroma that's keeping me coming back for more.

These beans range in color from a deep dark brown to a carbon black and do not taste or smell burnt. That’s impressive given the many coffee roasters who can’t get that to happen. Surprising Amazon house brand does this really well. I’ve been very impressed with all the Amazon brand coffees I have tried and this one is no different. Like I always say taste is like beauty it’s relative to the person doing the tasting. For me, I really like this coffee. The first cups I made it straight out of the bag. Then I began mixing it with a light and medium roast with different taste profiles and from different growing regions and what I came up with is a velvety cocoa and coffee wonder. You can see in the pictures the 3 different beans. The darkest of them is this bean. I make some in the morning then I find myself wanting more in the evening. Just terrific.

Very dark, oily roast clogs Miele Coffee machine sensors. Only coffee I have used in over five years with this problem. Had to have maintenance repair come out to diagnose. You can learn to clean it, but it repeats quickly. Okay to grind separately for French press (or pour over), if you want robust coffee.

REALLY good. Perhaps IF it was a darker roast? I might like it even better. But this IS good and I will buy it again. Grinds really well without clumping and sticking.

Please Do not misinterpret my 4star Rating. It's not a Bad product in any way shape or Form. The beans were fresh and the aromas filled my coffee station. The flavor profile for this particular product is too dark for my liking. That Medium-Dark level has more sweetness and the flavors really let me play around. This product is a straight Dark roast that will end with very similar flavors from any form of extraction. VERY Chocolatey, and if extracted for too long, you will get into the Bitter. Very little if any tart on the under here which makes it easy for enthusiasts to enjoy.
