If you like Peru coffee this is probably for you. No complaints, wonderful quality. Grinds and brews just as it should. The taste is good and balanced, not bitter or burnt tasting. Puts a nice smell in the air too.

You can't beat the prices on Amazon coffee and I like the fact that it's organic. This tastes amazing and I've lived in Central America for many years of my life surrounded by coffee farms and have an espresso machine in my home, so I feel like I know what good coffee tastes like. This is really good coffee.

It is Okay, but not as tasty as other vendor. Of course, the price is on the low end as well.

Earthy and full of complex flavors, like a good Sumatran coffee should. Not as dark and bold as some other Sumatran roasts, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing for many considering the flavors it provides. All in all, even though I like a little darker personally, this is fantastic and I'll grab some more again.

This coffee is priced well and has no bad flavors. It just is not as tasty as other beans I purchase.

As coffee prices have gone up at the grocery stores, I was looking for a more affordable option. This tastes so much like my go-to organic blend from Whole Foods and it’s 1/3rd cheaper AND I get FREE DELIVERY with Amazon Prime AND with a SUBSCRIPTION, I’ve locked in the low price AND I’m never left without any coffee left which, if you know me, would result in disaster. I literally cannot talk until I get my coffee! What gets me out of bed? The smell and taste of this coffee blend. It’s smooth, fresh and definitely not too acidic for my sensitive stomach. If you want a coffee that’ll please anyone, buy this roast. I’m so pleased I found this - nothing like solving an issue, saving money and achieving greater efficiency - all while not sacrificing the taste or quality. Top Notch! P.S. I’m also not even tempted to buy Starbucks anymore either!

Makes a dark thick opaque cup of strong black coffee in my drip coffee maker. Tastes very good to me and leaves a good taste in your mouth, I personally find most medium-light coffees to be too acidic. This is excellent and personally I like the chewy dark earthy bitterness - though it's pretty smooth and not overly bitter. My favorite dark roast was discontinued and I feel like this may be a good replacement. I tried everything from really expensive fair trade coffees at my local co-op to going through all the normal name brands in my search for a good daily dark roast coffee. While it's not 100% as good to my current taste as what I used to get, I still feel like it deserves five stars because once I get used to it I might like it even better.

If you enjoy a standard cup of black coffee (which is surprisingly hard to find) but don't wanna break the bank - the Peruvian beans are perfect. Not too acidic, or overroasted (burnt). My husband and I can agree on these medium roast beans (he generally likes light roasts and I like darker roasts). I'm super sensitive to caffeine and this will get you the right amount of coffee wake up without keeping you strung out all night. As with all coffee beans, your grinder/coffee maker matters. We have a Jura (best coffee manufacturer in my opinion) so the beans can be properly appreciated. Not weak coffee like kpods brew and even better that it's organic (avoid lots of gross pesticides etc)! Have ordered multiple bags over the years and will continue to order more. Worth their low cost price.
