Just what I needed for my shoe closet LED strip. I stand in front of the sensor (about 2ft) and bam! It turns on my LED strips letting me see my shoes. As long and it senses movement it stays on but shuts off after a few minutes of inactivity. I will definitely buy more for other ideas around the house

These work with the the Torchstar lighting system. They're plugged right in between the power supply and the switch. I did have to shave back some of the socket housing a bit so that it would be a snug fit. You no longer have to take the back off to adjust the time setting as they put a hole in the back for you to get to the potentiometer. I didn't realize that and thought the potentiometer was a screw to take the back off. I'm sure I broke it. That was user error. But it still works very well. I think I probably now have it set to the maximum time which is somewhere around 6 minutes.

This product is a total waste of money. The motion sensing part does not work at all and the voltage input is not the same as the voltage output. I put 12VDC on the input and got 2 VDC out which, powers nothing. I sent this back the same day I received it. Don't waste your time or money with this one!

very quick way to get your strip led lights on a motion senor. I tested it on both 12v and 600led 24v 2.5A , and it did not choke. The sensor looks like a 180degree , seems more like 110. like it would be good to "aim" at the sense location, or put it up high. There is a secret, inside . a Qualified electrohandy person could carefully open the case. Inside they will find (well in mine) a Trimpot YAY. with proper tool and lite of hand , a person could carefully adjust the dial. Default timing is ~17 seconds on time the trimpot will adjust in usable increments to ~5 Minutes Feature :-)

Works great for my simple LED setup using a 5 volt 3 amp power supply.
