I REALLY like this feeder! It is the first auto feeder I have purchased. We live in the country and found a momma cat and 4 kittens on our front porch recently. She was pretty frail, so we started putting food out for her and the kittens and it was well received. We were going to be traveling for a week, so I went looking for a feeder. I consciously had raccoons on the brain when I was shopping. I was looking for one with a shape that I could have a shot at somehow securing. This one has a nice flat top and I envisioned being able to place something heavy'ish on it. I was right. I imagined that I would have a decent chance of beating the raccoons. I was wrong. The first night, I placed a small weight on it to test the waters. Came out the next morning and found the feeder about 3 feet from where I had placed it. It was on its side and in several pieces (not broke, just disassembled... much of the product is held together by gravity). The next night, I placed a 16x8x2 inch concrete patio paver on top of it. It weighed in at just over 16.5 pounds. The feeder certainly wasn't designed with this in mind, but it held up like a champ. The feeder was up against a wall, so the front and two sides were exposed. My greatest regret was that I placed all of this directly under my security camera, out of its line of sight. I came out the next morning and again found it laid over and in pieces with the patio stone on the ground where the feeder previously was. The security footage showed a raccoon come up and was evidently there for 15-20 mins then left. A little later it came back with a friend to finish the job. We were leaving that day so I hung my head in defeat and let the neighbor take care of the cats. I'm certain that I can up with a better challenge for the raccoons, but I haven't tried yet. To this feeder's credit though, it took a beating those two nights and survived with only a few scuffs on the face where they were evidently dragging it across the porch. Still works perfectly. Also to the feeder's credit, it has a VERY flexible feeding schedule which was easy to set up. My original plan was to feed 3 or 4 times during the day and try to limit what food was left in the bowls overnight to maybe limit what was attracted to it. That attraction portion of that sentence was just dumb thinking on my part. The scheduling part worked perfect though. As I was putting it together the first time (super easy) I actually caught myself thinking "oh, that's a smart way to design that..." I don't do that often. It really is a neat design overall. I can vouch that comes apart and cleans very easy if you find it covered in racoon drool. I was able to plug it in, but it has a nice battery backup for peace of mind. In came into this purchase knowing that I was going to be asking something of it that in no way it was advertised to do. It met every expectation, was easy to use, holds a ton of food, is easy to clean and is very robust. 5 stars from me.

Have been using this since May for my two cats. It has been great! Mine is powered by batteries only and I have not have to change them yet. The settings on it are easy to set up. Perfect for 2 cats. Made well also and is not cheap material. Good quality. Holds a lot of food. I only have to refill it every 2 weeks.

I have two cats with one that will devour everything in her sight. This automatic feeder helps keep that under control while allowing the other one to be able to eat when their hungry. Has an automatic timer that is easy to setup. I have it set to release food every 6 hours, which if you fill the bin, can last about 7-9 days. If your looking for managing your cats weight when having multiple of them, or plan on going on a weekend getaway, this machine works really well. Instructions are easy to understand and took about 10 minutes to unwrap and put together. If you find you don't have batteries for backup power immediately, don't worry, it can still run until the next time you need to get to the store.

This has been a game-changer. We like to feed our 2 cats small amounts throughout the day and this works great. Easy to use, reliable, and holds plenty of food. Someone recommended putting child-straps on the top, so we did that for peace of mind.

This is a great feeder for our cats if we are away all day and for their early morning feedings. Assembly was easy and it is very sturdy. I find setting the feeding times a bit difficult, but with time I am sure I will figure it out. Highly recommended!

The automatic feeder for two cats has been well worth it! I only have to fill up the compartment of food maybe once every 10 days. I have kittens right now, but feeding amounts won’t change much as they grow. It’s one less thing I have to worry about each day with an already extended plate of chores. Easy to customize and love the voice recording option. They take off running when they hear me calling for them on the speaker of the feeder. It’s holding up well and they have never had any issues with moving it around or tipping it over. It does have a place for batteries, and I do have some in there for backup, but keep it plugged in and works amazingly well.

Fantastic quality, easy to set up, and no over feeding! Went away for a few days and worked like a charm. Highly recommend and very satisfied. Great product. A+

My greedy fat cat can no longer dig into the cat feeder and steal food. This feeder is great for cats that will try to stick their paw up in it to steal food. It worked on my other feeder, but this one is good! My only complaint with this is that there is no built in audio to signal feeding time. So I just recorded an audio from my phone. Another issue with my old feeder was the feeder wouldn’t go off sometimes. I have had no issues with this feeder as long as it’s plugged in. Been using it for over 6 months now. (Cat in picture is not the greedy one)

Great feeder overall! I picked this up in case I eventually get two cats, and it works well for that purpose. One thing to note: there’s no option to feed just one side—both sides dispense food at the same time. So if you’re only feeding one cat, you’ll need to halve the portions to avoid overfeeding. The portion sizes are preset (ranging from 1/16 cup to 1 cup) and can’t be customized beyond that, but it’s been sufficient for my needs. I specifically wanted a feeder with a large hopper, and the metal trays are a nice bonus. It also feels very secure and cat-proof, so clever cats won’t be able to sneak extra food.

Cela fait un mois qu'il est en fonction et tout va bien. Au début, j'ai un peu surdosé car il est possible de mettre 36 doses mais 18 doses remplissent déjà bien les gamelles. Pour mes chats 4 doses 2 fois par jour suffisent et j'ai une autonomie de plus de 3 semaines. Il est aussi difficile de retirer les gamelles en inox et j'ai ajouté un tout petit bout de ruban adhesif pour le faire plus facilement. Sinon, c'est un très bon appareil. Attention, la prise du petit trasfo n'est pas EU. Un transfo de base suffit car le cable est USB.

Stopped working after 3 months. It starts feeding and after the count of the first sometimes second dose the display screen lights up fully and feeding stops. Tried with and without power cord, and got same behavior. Very unhappy.
