I'm not one to leave reviews often but after a recent incident it's fair to say my daughter would not have an iPad if it wasn't for this case. The iPad accidentally slipped into the kitchen sink full of water, due to the case it floated on top of the water instead of sinking to the bottom, aside from a small splash of water to the screen that was easily wiped there was absolutely no damage to the iPad, no water had got inside the case and the iPad has been used for two weeks since no problems at all .. despite it floating on the water for a few minutes. Without the foam of this case the iPad would have sunk straight to the bottom.. I brought the case for a young child so I expected it to be protective, however I never expected that it would protect from water damage too.
