Would it work for cat food?

No it doesn't work for even tiny-sized cat or puppy food. We bought it specifically to dispense cat food and we will be returning it. Sometimes it releases a very tiny bit and then the food gets stuck because of the tiny size of the dispenser opening. Do not buy this product for that purpose or you'll be disappointed.

Don't buy

Cheap quality product. Doesn't work. You have to install it.. no rubber on the lid, so no airtight box as shown and mentioned by the seller. Major drawback is that you have to install it which was a headache.
