Review: Excellent purchase - It is exactly as I imagined and arrived on time and in excellent shape. Measurements are well marked inside and the volume of 750ml is sufficient for any normal freeze-dried meal, or two cups of coffee. Perfect for my needs. My coffee cup nestles quite well inside and the alcohol stove fits inside that, so it makes for a nice compact cook-set that comes in at just over 8oz including bandana. The bail is easily removable if you do not want it, but I find it handy for when the wind blows enough heat onto the handles to be an issue. The workmanship and attention to details is top-shelf. The lid fits snug, with 3 little holes in the top to allow for steam to vent, and the little triangle handle will stay put in an upright position to keep it from getting too hot. All-in-all, a great value and an excellent purchase that will log some trail miles.

It's so light it's almost unnoticeable. Fits a small iso can inside of it easily. May buy a few more so each family member has one. It is exactly as I imagined and arrived on time and in excellent shape. Measurements are well marked inside and the volume of 750ml is sufficient for any normal freeze-dried meal, or two cups of coffee. Perfect for my needs. My coffee cup nestles quite well inside and the alcohol stove fits inside that, so it makes for a nice compact cook-set that comes in at just over 8oz including bandana. The bail is easily removable if you do not want it, but I find it handy for when the wind blows enough heat onto the handles to be an issue. The workmanship and attention to details is top-shelf. The lid fits snug, with 3 little holes in the top to allow for steam to vent, and the little triangle handle will stay put in an upright position to keep it from getting too hot. All-in-all, a great value and an excellent purchase that will log some trail miles.

On a 55 degree dry day, sea level, it boils water in 4 min, 30 sec using a 30+ yr old Whisperlite Int'l . A Snow Peak Iso it boils it in 5 min 30 sec. The bale will stand up if you need it, making it easy to remove if/when the handles get hot, and the loop on the lid does the same, very handy for removal of the the lid. It's so light it's almost unnoticeable. Fits a small iso can inside of it easily. May buy a few more so each family member has one. The design appears to be a bit more user friendly than some higher priced brands I've looked at.

Good set. Definitely lightweight. Boils water quickly and cools down quickly. It's a solid mug for lightweight backpacking or camping if this is something you need. In retrospect, I wish I had gotten one with silicon covers on the handles. But this works just fine. Because it is so lightweight, I couldn't give 5* for the durability rating, but that should be expected with all the ultra lightweight gear. Would recommend this if the price was right.
