Good for running. I like running early in the morning before the sun comes out and I could never find a proper way to carry my weapon. Yes I was hesitant on getting it because wearing a belly band did not feel “manly” but it’s just a tool to get the job done and that is all it’s. I am training to run 5miles every day. So far I run 15-20 miles per week and band hold my weapon EC9s in the standard 7 round mag, a extra mag extended 9 round mag. In it I also have my phone a iPhone SE 2020 and a small flash light that I use to light my path when the are is really dark. I honestly cannot go with out this. I sweat a lot and it holds my weapon properly and it’s stretchy. After running, my weapon has minimal “sweat” on it. It’s more like condensation from my body heat. Therefore I do recommend to dry it up after and clean it after every run and oil your weapon at least 1 time per week since sweat is salty! And corrosive to metal. My phone does not get any sweat since it’s on the small pouch and the pouch seems to be sweat resistant it feel like nylon/plasticky material. Oh the free flash light is 7/10 it works and it’s cool but it’s a bit bulky I wish it was maybe skinnier and easier to conceal. I always daily a small flash light Belly band 10/10.

Updating my review. I received a new holster and the stitching is holding great this time. Just one of those incidents in life. The holster is so comfortable that you don't even know you are wearing it. The zippered pocket is great for carrying money and not worrying about being pick pocketed. The hook strap is quiet, in the case of ever needing it. Buy one of these, they are great and I think that the newer style they are bringing out is going to be even better, if that is possible. I am buying from here again and I recommend you to do the same. The company contacted me and went out of their way to make things right. I now have a new holster and will wear it for a while and make sure that the previous problem was just a glitch. They haven't got in their holster yet for my Springfield, but will get one when they do. Again, this is a very comfortable holster. I love the zippered pocket. If all you have is a compact, then pick this up. If you have a larger gun, then I'd wait till their new holster comes in; either way, get one! After I make sure that the stitching issue was just a glitch, I will make this a 5 star. Kudoes to the company for their effort to correct things. It was just a mistake, and we all make those. Previous review I hate to have to give this a 2 star rating. This has the potential of being a 5 plus rated item. The problem is that the stitching on the edging was all coming off after just 3 days(about 6 hours)of wearing. It also does not fit my Springfield XD MOD 2 9mm sub-compact as described. However, the company is aware of this and included a letter from Taylor-the owner-saying that they knew and were getting in another that would accomidate this gun. He said to email him and let him know if we wanted to exchange it when they came in; well I emailed him and attached a picture of what was happening. This has been 3 weeks now and he has not even acknowledged my email. I had to return it before my 30 days were up. It is a very comfortable holster and fits my SIG P 238 380 just fine. If I could have even gotten a response from the company on the craftsmanship, I would have rated it better. I would love to buy another one from them after the new ones come in, but the customer response-or lack of-makes me question if I will or not.

I've only this a couple weeks and have worn it a few times. Placement is very important. i first tried to wear it on the hip area, but that caused the butt of the gun to lean outward and, of course, the band goes to area of least resistance so it migrated upward and then was loose. However, when I secure it higher, just above my actual waist, it stayed in place and there was no printing at all be the butt of the gun was hidden my chest. Pro: - the "velcro" sticks well. it will stay in place even while jogging. - it's very long so easy to size, but the "velcro' attaches the length of the band - I found it pretty comfortable. There wasn't an area that scratched or poked. - My S&W 642 sits securely and will the strap it will not be dislodged when bending forward or jumping around. Con: - the bottom edges curl inward a little. - It's gets a warm under the band in hot weather - The zipper on the zippered area (which I haven't used) actually clicks loudly as it bumps. - The hook on the safety strap is hard to close bc it's pulled so tightly to meet the bar. It would be best if the strap were shorter and attached higher on the band.

Day 1 with holster:Starting with the cons cause right out the box it started off bad Cons: 1.my G-19x you can see the imprint while wearing baggy sweatpants and slightly lose shirt. Unless it’s placed on small of back couldn’t notice I had it there. For me I’m ok with the slight imprint for a gun my size I get it. With a Normal hoodie covers it up nice. 2.I DIDN'T GET MY FLASHLIGHT that bummed me out biggest reason they came out on top vs. the other company’s out there for me was the flashlight made sense to pay the extra $$$ for this one because of the flashlight 👎🏾 Going to try to reach out to see if I can get my flashlight. I’ll update later Let’s move on now Pros: 1.Material feels nice against skin very breathable if going that route still gets a little sweaty but again I expect that when I ordered product 2. Draw is easy holster can be wrapped around nice and snug giving a good Resistance to be able to draw in a timely manner no matter where you position the the holster 👍🏾 3.pocket is really both a PRO&CON pocket Has a liner inside that keeps any moisture from the sweat from getting in the pocket and keeps it dry. Zipper is also really good CON-pocket could be a little wider to be able to fit modern cell phones I have an IPHONE 11pro and I can’t fit it In the pocket and close the zipper. Which affects one of my few reasons I choose this holster which is Running I wanted to place normal sized phone and close In Pocket and be able to run without having anything in pockets and also keeping safe in an unpredictable world. But that’s ok that wasn’t advertised for phones but food for thought. Hope this helped will update after I clean first time and what happens to Velcro. And when I hear back about where my flashLight is.

First, I haven't made a habit of leaving reviews even though I buy a lot of products from Amazon. I am definitely leaving a review on this one as I am absolutely thrilled with the product. I have owned three other adults and quite simply none compare. The clasp, or fastening end of the Velcro like substance is so much more superior than others I tried... you can't even tell this thing is on when you're wearing it high waist as I wear it, I couldn't be happier. I put my extra mag in the second pocket and then clip my tactical light also in the second pocket snugged up to the mag and so far neither has fallen out. I carry a Sig Sauer p938 and it fits perfectly the retainer strap works great very easy to unsnap or undo it as you are going to draw, yet it fully secures the gun in place. Personally I highly recommend a belt with a retainer strap for the gun as I have had my gun actually fall out eBay belt I had bought early on which was approximately 5 years ago. It of course had no retainer strap. This belt as you can see also has a separate pocket that is zippered and so far I have just carried my CCW license and occasionally some cash in it. It is extremely convenient, comfortable and practical and in my case all of these are necessary as I drive a lot there for I'm in a sitting position and yet still can hardly tell that I have it on. Also when I get out and straighten up it is in the same exact position it doesn't crease or change positions at all.

Updated review! Velcro has totally stopped holding! Now is totally worthless! Love the comfort and the way it holds my firearm! Have been wearing just over a month and the Velcro is not holding up as when it was new! Can still wear but have to secure tighter than I like on more loose! The position I need won’t hold! Past my return date by a few days or I would have returned for the same thing.

Overall I think this is well enough made and seems pretty durable but I am going to rate it with only 2 stars for a couple of reasons - My main complaint is that while this was advertised as being able to handle a full size pistol, I own a Sig Sauer P320 and there is no way this was designed to hold it. The barrel of the P320 was too large to fit in the holster's slot especially with a laser sight mounted on the rail. But even without the laser sight mounted I still could not fit the gun in the holster because the slot for the barrel is too small. So I feel the ad and it's claim to be universal were mis-leading. That said, I might still be able to make this work by cutting the threads that keep the gun from going in too deep into the holster. The threads are sewn in such a way as to stop the insertion of the gun into the holster at the trigger guard. But before doing so I wanted to contact the company to ask for help and guidance and that brings me to point 2. I totally despise companies that do not make it easy for customers to contact them for help. And like many websites, TacX Pro Gear's website just carries marketing info and provides no means to contact them. In my reviews that will always cost a company a star or two because I feel providing for customer feedback and support is one of the most important services that any company should offer. UPDATE: I have changed the number of stars I gave in my original rating because once I figured out how to contact this company for help they proved to be very responsive to my concerns. They both changed their website to make it easy to contact them AND they were quite willing to work with me to figure out a solution, at their risk even! They were willing to let me return the band even after I made the modification to it (had to remove some of the threads that were sewn in to prevent a gun from falling through the holster), if I still failed to make it work, so that it would allow me to carry my gun! Sounds like they are even going to do a bit of R&D to improve their holster for accommodating larger pistols...

TAC X is excellent for those times when Extreme Casual or Sports Related Dress is necessary. To and from Gym...Store...During Run or Jog. IT STAYS SECURE with my EMP4 and Wife's Sig 2022. Tried a few other belly bands and TAC X rates at the top. Worth the price in CONFIDENCE alone.....The mini light is very good but I do not implement. Carry pouches are FIRST CLASS because of the HIGH QUALITY material and construction. DOES NOT SLIP OR SLIDE, Thanks Taylor, I was impressed with Customer Service and your sincere contact.
