These are stiff, I would not suggest to be used on a pillow that is slept on. I bought them for the durability for under my throw pillow cases. Yes there are a few feathers that have popped through, but it would have to beaded out of Kevlar for that not to happen. Order up a size if you want pillow to be smushable still. My pillows are super filled, the cases fit a little to tightly to have any spread out ability due to the pillows behind so full and high loft. Its been 2 month that ive had them. I did wash by hand before use and DID NOT put in dryer. I havent had any issues with the zipper. For the number of cases you get for the price, I cant complain. If you want a higher quality you'll have to pony-up the dough.

These are a necessity if you have feather pillows that are actually used. After having a dozen different feather throw pillows poke me with feathers when trying to relax on the couch I finally invested in these pillow protectors and they are amazing. Since adding them I have not had a single feather push through. I haven't really tested the waterproof claim but I assume they are at least water resistant due to the feel of the material. These are a perfect base layer to go on your pillow before your decorative covers. Would recommend making sure you have the correct size or possibly opt to go a size bigger so they aren't limiting the pliability of your pillow (unless you prefer stiff throw pillows).

Protectors have only been on a few weeks but so far so good, no stray feathers poking us when using the cushions or randomly laying about on the floor. Very happy

Was constantly getting annoyed by feathers from our cushions but these stop them coming through

I was going to throw out our feather pillows, which are very comfortable, due to quills constantly coming out and pricking our face. I ordered these as a last ditch effort and was completely satisfied with the result. I don't know why the pillow manufacturer doesn't just add $5 to the price and supply them with these covers already on them. Best price I could find for full size cases, and top quality. We've been using them for ½ a year now, and I don't hesitate recommending them at all.
