Donut Dog Bed for Medium Dogs Calming Round Washable Medium Sized Dog Bed

I bought this bed for my MacNab puppy because he loves his chihuahua sister’s bed so much that he carries it around the house with him (it’s the multicolored pastel bed in the photo). From the pictures I expected this bed to be similar, but it is only very loosely filled with stuffing, so it has very little structure. I followed the instructions regarding fluffing it up, but it made no difference. I am going to keep it, but I’m going to purchase some poly-fill batting to fill it out. Hopefully that will make it more calming for him. As it is, he still prefers his sister’s bed.

In 8 years, this is the only bed that my dog has not immediately destroyed. She loves to sleep in this bed and neither the adult nor the puppy have chewed holes and destroyed it. My dog does not destroy furniture or pillows but in the past has always let the fluffly white stuff out of her dog beds so she could watch it float around the room. I have washed it in the washing machine twice due to puppy mishaps and it comes out clean and smelling good. Great product.

Your dogs will love it.

Overall my puppy loved his bed, but after multiple potty training mishaps and washes, the bed itself started to fray up. When the bed first arrived it was very soft and smooth to the touch. After 5 months of uses, though, plus the expected puppy damage, it started to feel rough and deformed. In the end my dog started chewing on it to pull out the stuffing so had to throw it away. Don't mean to sound too negative. I really liked the way it looked and felt, but don't expect it to survive the puppy phase.

My dogs love this bed.
