Lattafa Perfumes Ajayeb Dubai Portrait Eau De Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce (Unisex)

I bought this fragrance as a blind buy after hearing glowing reviews about its sweet mango scent. First impressions? The bottle is absolutely stunning — elegant and display-worthy. But the fragrance itself initially didn’t meet my expectations. Right out of the box, the mango note smelled more like unripe mango, and the dry down leaned heavily into oud. It came across as quite unisex, maybe even tipping a bit more masculine than I usually prefer. That said, I wasn’t ready to give up on it. I’d read that letting it macerate — basically age and develop — can help bring out the fruitier elements. I bought it in February, and sure enough, after about 6 months, something magical started to happen. The tropical mango I was hoping for finally began to emerge, mellowing beautifully with the oud and creating a much more balanced, inviting scent. This fragrance definitely requires patience. But if you’re willing to wait and let it evolve, it can truly become something special. I’m now excited to see how it continues to develop over the coming months. Bottom line: If you love mango but aren’t sold on oud right away, don’t write this one off. Give it time — it just might surprise you.

First and foremost, the bottle is stunning! I love the packaging. The formulation of this fragrance is complex. The top is juicy and fruit forward. This fragrance takes you on a journey. As it settles, you get the jasmine and osmanthus, and a very slight hint of powder at the middle. Initially, the dry down pulled very masculine on me with the base notes containing musk and oud. It was strong. So I let this macerate for a few months, occasionally revisiting it. The masculinity softened. The sweetness of the amber came forward and now it pulls more unisex, and I can still smell some of the mango at the heart of it. I was hoping for this to happen whereas I had read so many reviews about it being mango strong. I get Mango, but it's not a sweet fruity concoction. This is complex and unique. This smells expensive. It also wears expensive. The protection and longevity are both strong. This is very quickly a beastmode scent. I layer this with a Mango oil to add a little more sweetness to it. Currently seeking a good mango body cream to add to the combo.

This is a good fragrance it's very tropical reminders me of coconut in a fresh summer way very nice longevity pretty decent 6plus hours and overall a good cheap fragrance

With the raves over this I thought it would be richer and deeper. I will not judge just yet because I will let it set for a few weeks and come back for an update. Hopefully it will deepen, but today its light on my skin, similar to a skin scent. One reviewer said when they couldn't smell it any longer, other people did. It's fresh light mango with some amber. I don't smell anything extraordinary at this moment, but I will give an update later. This is my 5th Lattafa perfume, and so far I've been very impressed. Package arrived much sooner than expected! Very appreciated. UPDATE: After wearing this the smokey sultry sexy has a sweet hint of mango. OUD in this reminds me of Myrrh, which is a resin scent I love. Oud is similar but deeper and woodier. It's so good. I am rather new to OUD but have discovered with purchasing my first bottle of OUD MOOD by Lattafa, that I love it so much I spray it on my wrist every morning because it's such a grounding and lovely sweet smokey earthy scent, it's like aromatherapy in a bottle. I will also mix this with a fresh rose since the mango takes a big step back and allows this to dance with an powerful partner OUD, maybe even gardenia for an elegant beachside dinner. This isn't strong as I would like which is the only reason for 4 stars. I'm happy about adding this unexpected adventure to my collection. I would say this is for someone 28 or above, it's flirty but don't play. Yes, a guy could rock this if sprayed lightly.

I just didn't like the scent of this perfume. An older person may like it.

How come no one has mentioned that this parfum smells like Iced Star by Thierry Mugler??!! Or I can go even further than that; Angel Eau Croisière- since the mango note is included. I just received this parfum, and as sooooonnnn as I sprayed it, I immediately smelled the original Angel; and I do mean the original,. After five minutes, that specific original Angel note that I had first noticed, disappeared, and then it went straight to Iced Star for me. Wow; nearly identical. So, if you are upset that Iced Star has been discontinued (I'm fortunate enough to own a bottle), then buy this! It is identical to my senses, as well as it is identical to its longevity. Just like Iced Star, I have to reapply this parfum 2-3 hours later. I gave this a 3 star, due to its longevity. Also, for me the parfum is redundant, because I already have Iced Star; with that being said, I can spray, spray, spray away with the Lattafa one, while I hold on to Iced Star for a little while longer :) Edit: It also dries down to Bond Greenwich Village, with a twist of Madawi. Super interesting how it develops, but what excites me is that super special, and ohhhh so sexy note in the very beginning (that used to be in the original Angel; 1992- and only a few years afterwards, after the unfortunate witchcraft of reformulation. Some of you know that specific and distinctive note that I am referring to! Ohhhh soooo good!) So for that fact alone, just to smell that magical Angel 1992 note again, I would repurchase :) Update- July 2, 2025 The parfum smells like scented toilet paper. Case closed.

My hubby got this for me for our five year anniversary. When it showed up, the smell right out of the bottle was very powdery and not “blended” very well. Screechy? A bit harsh. It changed for a 180 in about a week and a half and now I can’t get enough of it. I don’t even know how to describe this scent but it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever smelled. It’s like nothing I’ve smelled before, not concerned about smelling generic; this is very unique. I love it and wear it just about everywhere. And it’s so cheap, I’m going to buy a couple backup bottles (I’m already halfway through my initial bottle). OH MY GOSH. Just buy it. It’s so good.

This fragrance you have to let it macerate, at first I only got a strong oud note /alcohol smell and didn't get the mango note. But then I kept spraying and gave it a week or so to let it do its thing and now it really wowed me!! It's not a sweet girly mango smell it's more mature, beautifull and complex. If you want a more sweet mango you can pair it with Yara tous and it intensifies the smell. Overall I would say this perfume is a solid 8.5-9. This could be a great summer and spring fragrance it can also work in autum if you pair it with something more spicy and sweet. Hope this review helps :)!! I loved it. Its a very unisex fragrance, fruity and woody/amber. If you are into sweet or gourmand, don’t blind buy it. This is more for the fans of diptyque or replica. I can smell the mango but it’s not a ripe mango. It’s a mature smell, def not for teen/young adults.

Orange and lemon interrupt other ingredients. On the skin you can feel only orange and lemon, after a while jasmine opens up. Very specific aroma and will not suit many people.

Me fui por lo que decían de este perfume, que tenia un aroma frutal a mango y revitalizante, pero la verdad es que no le hallé ni una pisca de la nota de mango, no huele mal, pero no fue lo que esperaba. Si pensabas que te tendría un aroma tropical ideal para el calor, este no lo tiene.
