Ever wanted to know just where a particular country is in the world. well you need a globe to find out. This is a great Globe. It moves by sunlight, its educational and a talking point. I am really happy with it.

My husband asked for a globe for his Christmas present and I knew that a traditional one would fit with our lounge decor. This is a quality object, very well received by recipient (my husband) and has received lots of approving comments since. A real asset to our living room. Thank you.

Saw this first at a friend's house. So fascinating. Having purchased this never fed up with it. The speed of rotation varies with degree of daylight. Looks as though it is frictionless. Makes an excellent and special gift.

Works great but has faded overtime

My Wife absolutely loved this gift. I've seen some negative reviews online, but I've found that the globe works in far lower light levels than I would have imagined and it's a real talking point. Very happy with it and would recommend.

It's lovely, interesting, educational and a subject to discuss but it stopped moving around 6 months after purchasing.

We recently visited Canada and saw this for the first time in the home of one of our relatives. It is so unusual and a real talking point. The globe turns in the light. My husband loved it, so guess what he got for his Birthday!

These are the coolest globes I've ever seem. It's really cool looking and works off the light above the curio cabinet that these are located in. No batteries required at all. We have a blue one as well that's larger that we payed way too much for from a specialty shop in Austin, Texas. It's really cool as well. I like the size of the blue one, but prefer the antique color of this model. It's also interesting to see the other planets that are available. In our office, we have a collection of globes we have purchased from around the world. There are about fifteen different ones in the cabinet that is halogen lit with two light on tracks in the corner of the front of the cabinet hidden out of sight. It has four shelves and ten very small halogen bulbs that light the cabinet up very nicely. The most expensive globe we have is worth about $2,500 because of precious stones inlayed into it all over each continent. It's very nice. People are drawn to this globe and the larger one that is blue first. They are fascinated to learn how these appear to be "magically" floating of as if their should be a cord coming from the base somewhere.

Arrive via DHL à la date prévue, dans un emballage où le globe ne risque rien, j'ouvre la boîte, et... c'est miraculeux, ça tourne tout seul, c'est beau, aucun fils, aucune pile, rien, il fait clair, ça tourne. 2 problèmes, ça tourne toujours, pour trouver un pays, il faut être rapide, et, le prix, c'est cher, mais je ne le regrette pas, c'est trop génial comme système. C'est mon 2ᵉ globe, le premier, après 6 ans de bons services, je l'ai laissé tomber, et il ne tournait plus, mais c'était ma faute. J'ADORE
