Hanging bird feeders from trees and shrubs meant that spilled feed rooted and some very hardy weeds sprouted everywhere causing a great deal of work, unsightly too.This is really good, very heavy and has shown no signs of movement although this is quite a windy corner of the South East. I am very pleased with it and the birds love it and queue up on the top. My cat cannot jump on top of it, another bonus. The nut feeder didn't fall apart as other purchasers has experienced. The birds did not seem keen of the seed feeder. The poles is in three pieces which need to joined together with a plastic seal. All seemed to be going well until my wife has one of the hooks fall straight of the pole after only three months use. It looks like it hadn't been welded on properly to the main pole. I am generally very pleased by the product so have arranged for Amazon to replace it. The feeders are pretty cheap and the clever magpies are flying near the seed feeder, enough to knock out some seeds, then picking at the ones that fall. Currently our seed feeder empties out in about 2 days. Probably need to tape up the holes at the bottom of the seed feeder so that so many seeds do not fall out. Or, buy a better one.
