Pair this with a good obd2 app and you have an amazing tool in your hands. The vgate bluetooth adapter feels very high quality and has worked extremely well in my experience.

Using it with JSCAN. Works great. Connects easily. Has saved me tones of money diagnosing my vehicle problems.

I used this to read and potentially clear codes with the Car Scan app on my iPad. It connected easily and read all the codes. However, I discovered that there are codes that only the dealer can clear, so it cleared most of my codes, but left a couple others. The booklet that came with the reader mentions this fact, so be aware that it may or may not be able to clear your specific codes. I also discovered that the reader will work with the Bimmercode app, which I own. Good value for the money!

This thing is absolutely amazing. I have a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee and was wanting to program some new key fobs this worked flawlessly only took about 5 minutes to program two keys. I did however need to use an app and pay $25 for one VIN number to enable all the features to do this. I downloaded the app in the Google Play store it's called OBD Jscan. Keep in mind this is a Jeep specific app as far as a Jeep Cherokee goes works awesome.

This worked great with JSCAN and my 08 RAM 1500 to program the keys. No issues and would recommend for this purpose. Also got the tire pressure light to go out.

Jeep. Tire pressure monitors TPMS do NOT go together. Off roading or even potholes break sensors. Easily changed by removing all your tires remounting and rebalancing…. Right.This allowed me to shut it off forever.You need the APP and a subscription per VIN number of about 21$ worth it since the off-road shop wanted 200$ to turn off the light. ( not repair it, to disable it!!!)

Hardly got any use out of it and now it just won't pair with anything.

A slight step up off my old ELM327 counterfeit clone that just used regular Bluetooth. I can see sensor changes faster. One issue I have with this is sometimes I have to re-pair it with my Bluetooth to work, something my 10 clone didn't have to do. Besides that it works well. 2016 Honda Accord Sport

This is the way to go if you are looking for an inexpensive OBD2 code scanner. It is awesome, connects quickly and easily.

This product is the perfect plug and play product. I installed it in my 2015 Ram 3500 pickup and it synced with the truck right away. I did have to purchase a vehicle pin to make it work for programing key fobs.I like that it now monitors the truck if I want or it can be left off if desired if you are not driving your truck for long periods of time. I definitely recommend this product.
