I was looking for the smallest size that could fit comfortably on my 10 inch gas stove and this fit beautifully. It is completely stainless steel, very easy to clean (best to clean it right away after use). Food does not stick much and being all metal a quick scrub with steel wool cleans it out completely. I especially love the glass lid which is also very sturdy with a built in strainer (two sizes). The handle is also very strongly made and is easy to grip. It does not get too hot (though I'd recommend using a towel in any case).
