Perfect dimensions for my product.

If you’re looking for replacement rods for your IKEA ALEX, look no further. These work perfectly, I’m actually amazed I was able to get replacements so easily. I got the 5mm x 300mm rods and they fit exactly like the original ones.

Perfect condition

Length is correct but the ends are squished, possibly cut with pressure not a moving blade, leaving not quite the full rod as usable. The rest of the rod is round enough for non-precise work and fits in 5mm bore bearings and gears well. I cut off the misshapen ends and sanded/chamfered the edge and it works great. The steel is soft enough to cut with a hacksaw but a rotary cutting tool worked best for me.

Purchased the 5 pack because the price was much better than two. Used these rods to manufacture spare parts for my hobby & crafts. Extremely pleased with the quality, sturdiness and overall finish. Hard to beat these at this price point and shipping included with prime as well. Fantastic...

I bought these rods to make axels for my 3D printed vehicles. They all seem to be perfectly straight and just need to be shortened to fit and cut easily with my Dremel. If you need rods for this type of project i recommend them.

Poor Quality control. Received items with rods accurate at 8 mm diameters, however the length of the rods was poor quality. Looked like cut with bolt cutters "around 200 mm". The rod ends were bent and looked as if cut with a bolt cutter rather then cut cleanly at ends of shafts / rods.

Exactly as described. Dimensions are accurate. Roundness is good.

These are not machine cut - clearly cut by hand, and done very poorly at that. Trying to clean the edges up to make them usable but it's a real pain. If you need precise cut pieces, don't buy these.
