I recently purchased the Eufy Security Solar Wall Light Cam S120, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. Here’s a breakdown of my experience: Pros: 1. It’s truly a set-and-forget device. 2. 2K Camera Quality: The video quality is outstanding. The 2K resolution provides clear and detailed footage, which is essential for identifying faces and other details. 3. Motion-Activated Light: The motion-activated spotlight is very bright and effectively deters intruders. It also helps in capturing clearer footage at night. 4. AI Detection: The AI detection is smart and accurate, reducing false alarms from non-human movements like pets or swaying branches. It reliably notifies me when it detects a person. 5. IP65 Waterproof: Living in an area with unpredictable weather, the IP65 waterproof rating gives me peace of mind that the camera will withstand rain, snow, and dust. 6. We’ve put this up in the back garden and honestly, I’m really pleased with it. The video quality is crystal clear in 2K you can actually make out details properly, even at night. The light comes on automatically with motion which is great for security, and also just handy when we’re letting the dog out after dark. It charges itself with the solar panel (no messing with wires or batteries), and the battery’s holding up well even through some dull UK weather. Setup was super easy with the app, and I love that there’s no monthly fees. One of those things you forget is even there… until it catches something!

We have a long garden with a drive at the bottom. Around 30metres away. This solar camera connected to the WiFi in the house and let me keep an eye on the cars when ever I wanted. Alerted me when people passed. Was easy to set up and get working right away. I fully charged it by cable before fitting down the drive. During winter it still managed to charge during the day and never dropped under 86% reason it dropped so much was me connecting to it so often. The problem I encountered and the reason for dropping a star. was once it got dark. I stopped receiving notifications. And I think it may be down to having the camera on colour night mode. Rather than infra red. Black and white. Night colour was amazing in a poorly lit driveway. Just a shame the alerts stopped for me. Hence I returned the camera for a refund

This is a well made and easy to install and use light and security cam. Would definitely recommend 👍

I would very much like to view a video of the person/s who designed and tested this item fixing it to the wall while 8 feet up a ladder. There is a tiny screw at the base that needs to be secured to hold the unit onto the wall bracket. I used the slanting base - fixing the tiny screw in place while looking upwards from a ladder was very difficult for me. I managed to do it by attaching the screw to a screwdriver with silicone to prevent it from falling when I was trying to apply it to the tiny screw hole while craning my neck while balancing on a ladder. However, more experienced persons may well find it easier than I did. The wall bracket leaves quite a lot to be desired and in my opinion could be made more secure without the use of much more plastic. However, it does appear to hold the unit securely enough. Time will tell, of course. It's early days, but the unit does seem to be working quite well and produces clear images on a phone. We have had some sunny days recently and with the additional solar panel, the unit retains a full charge most of the tim. I would not want to have to remove it from the wall to charge it.

Thought this camera would be ideal for mounting above a garage door. it was fine for the summer months but needed additional topping up in winter due to lack of direct sunlight. I had to remove and charge via USB cable twice. When removing the camera the second time the lower part of the wall mount became detached. The bracket is not very durable and not suitable for an item that may need to be removed multiple times. *** Update *** Without complaint to Eufy and based solely on this review the manufacturer offered to give a full refund (even though the return window had long expired) or the supply of a new mounting bracket. The new mounting bracket offer was accepted and it was quickly delivered. The customer service for this company has been a pleasure to deal with. The camera itself is now operating as it should. In summary this is nice discreet camera and would give it 5 stars. let down only by the mounting bracket which was the reason1 star review was initially given. Hopefuly the new mount will prove to be more durable than the last one. *** Update 24/07/2025 *** This camera has failed after just over one year. The camera is still functioning but movement is creating notifications to my phone but nothing is recorded on the device. This renders the whole thing as useless and not fit for the purpose it was installed for. Contact with the customer service advised a reset, a firmware update and a reminder that the item was passed its warranty date. My advice would be to avoid this device and try something more reliable.

They work well, and the image quality is very good. But with the security, they can be hit and miss on detection. Many times they don't detect a human, but will a shadow, even though set to ai human detection only. Also through the UK winter months, they won't charge by solar, and will need an external power source, or be charged. App can be slow to ping detections also. Plus side, no subscription and can view live feed on mobile phone, anywhere in the world, if you have data on your phone, which most mobile phone contracts do now. So you don't need to hunt for a wifi hot spot.

Well built unit. Only had to charge it before installation. Had it installed for 8 months and the lowest power it’s down to was 80%. Setup was easy and connection to my router is stable. Footage is decent and the floodlight is great to keep my back yard illuminated if anyone passes by. The two way communication does have a delay though.
