This is a much higher quality product than I was expecting for the price. It is longer, lighter, and more flexible than the hose it's replacing on a leaf vac, especially for the price. I was expecting something along the lines of a dryer vent hose, this is definitely not that. For dust collection, you won't be disappointed.

Quality materials and construction. Seals great. Very flexible and soft, but tough as nails. Didn't hurt my airflow at all, may have actually improved it over the old "rippled" hoses of yesteryear. Definitely worth the money.

For a while, this was my only hose, and I'd move it from machine to machine. I was worried about the durability, but it has held up extremely well. I also like the fact that you can hand tighten and loosen the clamps. I didn't realize how much I liked this hose until I got another one that is too stiff and tries to coil itself up all the time, making it difficult to get it onto the machines before it tries to pull itself back into a compressed state. This one doesn't do that, and I haven't had any issues with clogs or excessive static.

First a ding... I've ordered this product on two separate occasions and both times it took a couple weeks before the item even shipped. Once the order status indicates shipped it does arrive quickly. For the product itself, it's great, feels well constructed and I like the clear view of seeing how the sawdust is flowing through the hose. Its flexible and easy to trim to length if you need.

I am very pleased with this hose. It is very soft and flexible. 180 degree turns are easy to make. It seems very durable. Slips over a standard 2.5" dust collection fitting with just a little effort, like some others mentioned, you may feel you don't need clamps. It also has a decently snug fit over standard 2" PVC pipe. Overall it seems like a good quality piece, I like that its made in the USA and it really does feel like its worth the money to me.

I am working on dust collection for a Dewalt 735 planer. I am cobbling together a 30 gallon garbage can with several other parts and this hose worked perfectly. I cut it into two sections and had no issues with cutting it.The plastic seems tough and tear resistant.
