I love it. Getting another one. It's sharp, quality is good, affordable, comfortable grip, well balanced, not too light nor too heavy. Plus the knife was just a bonus gift.

Same quality than ones that cost twice has much. The sheath is just nylon and you need two hands to un-snap it, even the other brands with Kydex stealths need to be un-snaped, so I made my own Kydex shealth so it can be slid in and locked with one hand. It isn't pretty, and hasn't fallen out yet(even after chasing my dog about 1/2 mile through the forest) But its functional. I use it often and still waiting for the hammer screws to bend or snap so I can weld in pins,but they haven't yet so over all this is a very comfortable hammer/axe. 4/25/25 I've done approx 40 squares of roofing with this hammer/axe (hammering roofing nails not air nailer)and it has held up surprisingly well. I've sharpened it 3 times with very little loss of material and the Corby bolts are are still solid.(I applied thread lock to each one when I first got it)

Excellent deal!!! Get them if they still have them for less then $25 bucks! Even at $30 its a great deal!!! The only flaw is the sheath should be abs or kydex.

Partner LOVES this. He was using an old one and it needs some tlc, but it was good only one. Not anymore! Didn't have to sharpen, so that's a plus. So much easier to cut kindling. Definitely need to get one. Or several. Client also would like me to get them one. And I want to get me one to put with my bug out bag.

This is my second purchase of this set. I am happy with the quality and build. I haven't used it much but I've played around with both the hatchet and the knife and they seem to be of very good quality. I liked it enough to buy a second, 'back up' set.

Great kit and good weight. Everything is blunt though

Bought a similar unit (just the hatchet) on ALiExpress. Paid about double and it is the exact same hatchet except for the color. Definitely worth the price with the knife as well. Again not life saving gear, but good enough for a truck box or camping gear. I have to admit, the little cover on the end of the hatchet is a great idea. My other one did not come with one. Pretty sharp and useful out of the box.
