Perfect look and feel
If you are someone who has regrown their vinyl collection and needed better storage that is retro in style but well made and functional, than this piece may be for you. I took a long time looking at many different styles of record storage furniture on Amazon and ended up choosing this model due to this. It holds my albums perfectly and is well made and very strong to hold them all whether on the top or bottom. I particularly like the look of the top as it reminds me of the record shops that have the same way to thumb through their records for sale. I see no issues with it holding the maximum amount but that will vary depending on if you have single or double editions of albums etc. As others have said I don't know that it will or won't hold the amount listed in the description. For me I wouldn't want everything crammed in each compartment as I want to be able to easily go through the collection to pick out my next listen as well as to not have to worry about any damage. For those that are interested in the details of assembly please continue to read on otherwise I am very happy with the purchase and I should have bought two. Assembly: This came in a smaller box than I expected but was very well packed and everything was labeled properly. I timed the assembly from unpacking to completion and it was a bit less than 2 hrs. Now please note I have no doubt you can assemble much quicker however I am one to lay everything out by part number and likeness, get all of the assembly hardware nicely laid out as well and actually look through the assembly manual and the finished product pictures to get a sense of what I am up against. I also ended up getting some better tools as another reviewer suggested as the ones provided, although they would work, was not the most efficient nor the best quality. However if you have nothing else they will work but know it will take a bit more effort. I suggest a ratcheting type of screwdriver with the right hex bits instead of the two Allen keys that were provided along with a standard Phillips head bit.. I don't suggest a power drill as this type of IKEA style assembly is prone to over tightening with such tools and you definitely want to be snug but not over-tighten anything on here so a more manual approach is better in my opinion. Some key areas to watch for is how you are installing the legs as they must be flaring outward to work properly and the upper front and back grates need to make sure they are installed properly as there attachment points must be aligned properly so they fit right. You will notice that the attachment points on each grate are measure differently with one higher than the other so when they are both attached the attachment points are one on the top and one on the bottom so it is even across the front and the back. Hard to explain but once you see it you will understand in the pictures in the manual. There are extra hardware left over so don't think you missed anything and I like it when they include extra just in case. All in all, the instructions were good and the quality was great for its intended purpose and of course the look is fantastic as well. Hope this review helped at least one person to make a decision or help with assembly.

Surprisingly sturdy and sleek!
Like another reviewer, I was also skeptical about the quality of this but ordered anyway. It’s so solid and exactly what I wanted. Took my time assembling and have no concerns about stability or durability. Not counting my records, but fit nearly 3 crates worth with room to grow. I wish this was like 1 inch deeper (the records on the bottom shelf overhang by about that much), but otherwise am very pleased with the height, no wasted space, easy to flip through the top shelf. The material for the top and bottom shelves is thick and sturdy. The backing for the bottom shelf is kinda flimsy MDF but will do the job and is up against the wall anyway.

Best double front flip storage for under $100
I’ve had been shopping for a double front flip record storage stand for a while. A lot of beautiful custom ones are out there made of solid wood with a price range of 450-900 dollars. Beautiful and quality for sure…but I was not willing to spend that. I saw this one on Amazon and I got to say I was pretty hesitant on buying. It had the double top flip like I was looking for with storage below, it looked like something I wouldn’t be ashamed to display, and it was affordable…but it had zero reviews or ratings. I thought to myself this is probably just a cheap Chinese piece of garbage that I will regret buying… but I took the chance and ordered it. The box arrived and I laughed. I though .. No way this is going to be something I keep. Opened the box and organized all the parts by their assigned number. Pieces felt cheap…but looked really nice. Ok, yup let’s build this. If you think you want to use a drill with an adapter instead of the little Allen wrench provided I don’t recommend that. You will strip the heads on the screws. I do however recommend making your life easy if you have an Allen wrench set at home that has a handle and using that (shown in photo). You certainly can use the one provided… just be warned it will take a while and your fingers will hate you. The instructions I thought were easy to follow. Took me about 20-25 minutes to assemble..but I took my time. Well.. once it was assembled I was pretty darn surprised. This thing looked good. Both the top flip sides are pretty full, however if they are not there is one side that the front has a small gap that a record could slide through ( see photo). It’s not an issue if it’s filled. I’m quite happy with this purchase so far. It looks nice. My albums are on display. The front flip display allows me to thumb through the albums better than side storing them. And the thing holds all the albums I currently have plus room for more. Is this going to be something my kids fight over when I die? Nope. But it is nice looking, under 100 bucks ( I paid about $70), and I don’t regret purchasing.

Perfect for small spaces
This is a great cabinet, especially for small spaces. I will say that it was a pain to put together. It took my handy husband two hours to put together, and my husband hated the screws it came with. However, it’s very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. It fits a ton of records! I love that I have easy access to my records now instead of having them in a crate. I can easily flip through them now. Great price for what you get.

A Solid Record Shelf
I've been using the old peach crate album storage that I've had since the 1980s when I was in college. They finally got full and needed to be replaced. This is a very nice shelf and a good value. It comes in a surprisingly small box. But it has excellent assembly instructions. All you have to do is read them. I've seen that some folks have reported that albums slide through the gap between the mesh screen and the shelf. I don't have that problem. The two screens have staggered mounting screws and if you get them wrong, there will be a gap. Also, there were extra screws just in case and it came with two hex keys and a small screwdriver so there are new additional tools required.

For the money no question it's a value
For $70 on prime you cannot beat this display cabinet for your vinyl lps. There are some Negatives & positives so here we go. Positives: Assembly & loading the cabinet start to finish was just under two hours. Packing from the company is a smaller box which allows for less damage to the items inside considering how random shipping is today. It is sturdy for the money an comes with plastic knobs for the feet of the cabinet which is gray also. Negatives : Feet are kind of wonky to put on an you must take you time when doing it . All the screws are funny especially with the back board pieces you could have hand nails & been fine those who have built this type of furniture before get my meaning. Biggest complaint is the top basket fronts where there is a gap on both sides on the front. The problem with it is with older vinyl they are thin and if covered properly in a lp cover they are slick so they can fall or get pinned & potentially damaged in the gap . It can be annoying but fixable with proper angling I suppose still annoying. Lastly it doesn't hold the amount of vinyl it says but it holds a good amount . It will not hold 350+ though that I can tell you more likely around 200-250 could be stored in it safely . All in all though 5/5 for me solid especially for the price !!

Not sturdy. Beware.
I bought in 11/2023. I’m throwing it out 2 years later. Moved it for a carpet cleaning and the legs broke off.
