I love this hammer. Lightweight but solid point of contact, and competent swing arc. It is great for a neurology or PM&R-inclined medical student, in my opinion. Price is good when < 20 USD

This is a very sturdy reflex hammer. Great weight. The sharp tip for sensory testing has a nice silicone cover, but it does come off accidentally at times. It also can come unscrewed easily. Overall I am pleased with this tool.

this have a little more weight at end than the "tomahawk" style, so work better. just wish the other end was blunt

Not for neurologists but serves the purpose for the price. Tends to unscrew when placed in the parallel position depending on what direction you use it.

I have no issues with this hammer. It can be screwed and unscrewed with ease, but does not come loose.

I have tried different reflex hammers, including my stethoscope and this one is by far the best because it is weighted. Will definitely get the reflex no matter now light you tap it. You definitely do not need to put your wrist into it unless you want the patient jumping off the table.

Great reflex hammer-gets the job done and can be screwed on sideways, which makes it fit more easily in a white coat. Pro tip: crazy glue the red tip on if you actually want it to stay!
