It took me quite awhile to put together and I did it all sitting on the side of my bed with the boxes it came in for a table. All the pieces were there and I pulled this VERY important assembly detail from another reviewer ... thank you! "There are flat washers in with the hardware that is not mentioned/shown on the assembly sheet. Those washers go between the blue handled wing screws and the U-shaped leg (and back) pieces." I also inserted the arms into the gray brackets and then raised them until the holes lined up and added the screws and caps with the included tools. Easy. Patience required. After all was assembled, the chair works perfectly for my ample size. I wish the arms had a little less give to them but they are holding up fine. This will fit in my 32" x 60" shower. I like that the legs are straight down rather than angled out as I feel that there is less chance of tripping AND they take up a lot less space. I may remove the back if I need an extra 4 inches although currently the back gets warm quickly with the water rather than leaning against cold tile. I'm not using the pads as I want to be able to slide forward to get up and I like the quick dry of the plain textured plastic. I recommend this chair for functionality and it was easy, although time consuming for me, to put together.

I have had 2 others and the legs were angled out. Think triangle .They each had the legs bend out while trying to sit on them. They slipped or slide around. They were wider at the base, would not sit flat on the bottom. They were wider than the bottom of the shower or tub. This has straight legs so fit in the bottom of tub or shower. Making it very sturdy with no movement when you sit on it. Very comfortable chair. Best because won’t have it break on me when I sit on it. Makes it nice when you have a total knee replacement to have a chair that fits in your tub and will not move. Really a Best Buy..

Chair is high quality but the provide square head assembly screws but don’t include a driver. Luckily I had one but beware if you don’t.

So I bought it for myself which was a huge step for me and some new medical issues I'm dealing with. I absolutely love me chair. We have a diamond shaped shower with glass doors and It fits perfectly without pushing against the glass. I do not utilize the wall grip because my walls are plastic and it doesn't stay on if you pull on it. The handles are sturdy to push off of to stand and I love that the legs suction to the floor to keep you in place with a very strong suction. Now my husband sometimes will use it after a long day at work sit and let hot water wash over him to feel better. This at first was a embarrassing purchase but now is a great useful tool. There's no cracking or flexing of the metal it is very strong. I'm about 240 my husband is probably 280 and this is so sturdy.

Very simple to assemble. Like the fact that the supports & handles are stainless. The stick-on padding also adds some comfort, instead of just sitting on hard plastic. Just start using it but it seems very sturdy. (I'm approximately 230lbs.) So far, definitely a solid purchase.

Missing items but chair is perfect for the older smaller tubs. Sits level

Worked well for me after two knee surgeries.

Bought for my mother and she uses everyday. She really like ease of using and that it has arms to help her get up and down. Her only suggestion would be that perhaps a hole in seat so can spray bottom without getting up. It has been standing up to being in shower everyday for over a year.
