KRAUS Sellette Single Handle Spot Free Stainless Steel Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Deck Plate, KPF-1680SFS

This turned out to be one of my better buying decisions in a while. This faucet exceeded my expectations as a good looking and functional kitchen fixture. It came with all the parts I needed and was staightforward to install thanks to its thoughtful design. I should mention that the packaging it was shipped in was attractive and very well designed as well, which gave us an immediate sense of confidence that this was going to be a great product. The functionality is superb, especially with the operating handle that only moves from staight up to 90 degrees forward, so there is no worry about clearance from a close backsplash to the rear, but I have found that it is also much easier to control hot, cold, or mixture and is very intuitive. The spray head docks very easily and securely with a heavy weight on the hose below and a palpable soft click when it docks. The sprayer has a swivel as well that is convenient for angling the spray to where you want it when the sprayer is pulled slightly out. The reach of the hose is just right for our double 16" sinks, and I could have made it even longer if I hadn't needed to clear an obstruction in my particular setup under the sink. Finally, the spot free finish is beautiful and smooth to the touch, and it really does resist water drips and anything else from sticking. This tall faucet (18") is very easy to operate, has great water pressure, even at its 1.8 gpm rating, with, unexpectedly, no inconvenient splashing. The handle is also higher off the sink than most other faucets, making it easy to reach and turn on without having to bend over...a major plus. It matches our all-stainless steel appliances and sink, and...I never thought I would say this...is fun to use! We love it's graceful and minimalist design.

I inherited my parents home...they both passed away recently. It is the same home I grew up in and I needed to replace the drippy kitchen faucet... the one my dad had my son install about 3 years ago. It was inexpensive and I hated it. It started to drip about 7 months ago - and got worse after my father passed away. It got so bad I had to turn off the water under the sink after using the faucet. I started to research faucets and at first my mind was set on the well-known high end brands because I didn't want to encounter a drippy faucet again with an awful handle design. I had never heard of Kraus and after reading reviews I decided to try the Kraus Sellette. I got the All-Brite Spot Free Stainless Steel Finish which is so very lovely and so easy to clean! When it arrived my son and I were very impressed with the packaging it came in. It was lovely too! After my son installed it, he said it was easier to install than the previous faucet. Yesterday he told me he LOVED our new faucet. And I told him I LOVE it too and I Love him for installing it for me. No more dripping. Awesome handle design which makes it so much easier to turn the handle to hot or cold or in-between. Excellent spray head technology that makes washing dishes an easier task (we have no dishwasher). And I am very pleased with how the spray head easily snaps firmly right back into the spout. The high arc spout is the perfect height and I love how it smoothly swivels to whatever direction I need it. I am so happy with it that today I ordered their matching soap dispenser. I know my mama who loved to hand wash dishes would have loved this faucet. I know she is smiling at me every time I wash the dishes. Thank you Kraus for making the art of washing dishes a more zenful experience!

I decided to get this faucet since well-designed traditional faucets are not easy to find and can be ridiculously expensive. I like the fact that these Kraus faucets are beautifully designed and reasonably priced at the same time. Installation was pretty easy. The hardest part is that you have to attach the water hoses after the faucet is in place, so you you have to reach up and tighten fittings in a pretty uncomfortable position. The best part, which makes up for the hoses, is that the large nut that secures the faucet in place has 3 screws on it which can be tightened against the metal washer with a large slot-type screwdriver, causing the faucet to be very strongly attached. This is much easier and more effective than trying to tighten a regular nut up against the washer; this is how all faucets should be designed. On my unit the faucet was rather stiff to swivel back and forth. I solved this by pressing the small black button on the back of the gooseneck, lifting the gooseneck off and putting some additional faucet grease on the o-rings, etc., now it's perfect. You have to make sure the little black button is centered over the hole when you re-attach the gooseneck. The action of the water control is very nice, easy and smooth. There is a button on the back of the head to switch from stream to spray which also operates very easily. When you turn the faucet off it returns to stream, so you can't just leave it in spray mode. As you can see in the photo, I also bought a Kraus drain cover, which covers up the black hole of the disposal. It's raised up on plastic tabs so that the water and small particles drain underneath it. It does not plug the drain. Love it.

Looks nice. Works well. Apparently was not difficult to install by plumber, but upon installation noted that gooseneck part was slightly distorted. Send email to Kraus customer service, which requested order # from Amazon purchase. Send information. No reply. Send again. Reply: sorry, we did not get your email. Send again. No reply. Called. After I was redirected a few times I was told that I just did not center it correct. I Explained that everything is right and it was not mine imagination and distortion noted by a few people including a plumber. Then it was suggested that instead of replacing gooseneck /they do not carry this part /?!/ I should take out whole faucet and in exchange they will send me new. LOL. Absurd! So I was supposed to spend another $200 to reinstall faucet even not talking about all hassle. People were nice and admitted all inconvenience on my site but explained that they do not have other options. BTW I was on a phone almost 30 minutes. Really shame as faucet itself seems well made besides small defect . Will keep as it is. AN ADDENDUM. I have bought another type of Kraus faucet recently. Customer service was asking about my opinion on that faucet and I mentioned my bad past experience with this one. Michael Rodriguez from customer service was indeed helpful. As a result I will receive new faucet without need of sending previously installed back. Will use it for parts. What a difference when you get real help from customer service.

I ordered this faucet as a replacement for a Delta we had installed when we built our house 3 years ago. The Delta was impossible to turn off and always leaked. I was nervous because I am not familiar with the Kraus brand, but I can say that this faucet is superior to the Delta we had! The faucet is beautiful and well made. It feels sturdy and looks more substantial. The flow is far better too. My husband did have to buy longer hoses, but that is not a big deal. It took him 15 minutes to install, including removing the old faucet. He said it was very easy… and he’s no plumber! He complained about having to do it, far longer than it took to actually get it done! One week in, I feel that we received an excellent value for the money spent. If that changes, I will update my review. The one minor downside is that the nozzle is not magnetic and I do have to gently tap it into place.

Update: This faucet is still amazing! No issues at all! This is a wonderful faucet. Looks wonderful in our newly remodeled kitchen. It was easy for my husband and son to install. The water pressure is perfect. Looks very classy with our black granite countertops and Kraus stainless sink.

Very pleased with this faucet and it’s functionality!! Looks sharp and contemporary but also classic. The no fingerprint stainless finish is great! The pull down hose is also really nice, as we used to have a separate hose that never worked right. Love the one hole/one lever too. Also nice quality for the price!

Easy to install. Wish that it had a swivel head for the sprayer but otherwise great product. I like how the spray stays on and you don't have to hold the button as with some other faucets. I like the spot free finish. Slightly yellowish tint but not that noticeable.

Great quality and elegant looking faucet! Works great in a larger space as it is 18 inches tall.
