It is much easier to blow and can be a bit louder so I can work my Spaniels at greater distance. It really gets their attention when they are locked in chasing swimming ducks, (their worst of many bad habits), and on dry land their recall seems more energetic and focused, which potentially can be a true life saver. Because this whistle has a sharper clearer sound, they seem to pay better attention in all commands and we are both happier when they respond successfully.
