Easy application, beautiful color. I teach ceramics in a small local studio. The students love the color and the ability to mix them for variety. They are a great value to the creative potter. The red is very nice, and does not burn out when fired as high as cone 5. Would love to be able to get the colors individually.

These underglazes are reasonably priced for a set of 4 ounce jars of underglaze but they caused pitting with two of my glazes so far. I had asked the seller whether there was manganese in their underglazes and was told no as that can be a factor that causes pitting in combination with some glazes. My pictures are with clear over one and Kiln Ice Glacial Lake over the other, a cone 5 firing.

The underglaze works well however the color vibrancy is disappointing. I have written them a note and suggested that they change the color names to more accurately reflect what the color will be.

These stay vibrant in my ^5 firings. I use them as underglaze “ink” with my stencils & silkscreens

PENGUIN POTTERY SUPPLIES UNDERGLAZE SERIES THIS PRODUCT COULD NOT BE USED IN MY STUDIO. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD HAVE BETTER WARNING THAT THE DRY GLAZES CAUSES CANCER. HAD TO DISPOSE OF IT. NOT SAFE TO BE AROUND OTHER GLAZES. NEED BETTER WARNING !!!!
