I’ve gone through several phone mounts over the years, and this one is easily one of the best setups I’ve used. The Scosche MagicMount Pro2 feels solid right out of the box, and installation with the AMPS mount was quick and straightforward. Once it’s in place, the mount stays extremely stable—even on rough roads—which was something I struggled with using cheaper mounts before. The magnets are surprisingly strong and hold my phone securely without any wobble or vibration while driving. The cradle-free design is also a huge plus; you just bring the phone close and it snaps into place instantly, which makes getting in and out of the car much easier. The 360-degree adjustable head makes it simple to position the phone exactly where you want it for navigation. Overall, this mount feels well-built, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. If you’re using a ProClip or AMPS-style mounting system and want something that’s clean, sturdy, and easy to use every day, this is definitely worth it.

My previous phone was not magsafe compatible so I had a plastic holster type thingy. Upgrading to this magsafe design has been night and day. And it fit right on the mount already sungly installed in my old car.

Got a new phone and our old mount no longer fit, this is a much better priced as well as being future proof for future phone changes. If not mag mount, can still use the included metal plates.

I've been very pleased with this Scosche phone holder set. The design fits in with the interior pretty much like it is and OEM part. Installation was less than 5 minutes. It works well and holds the phone tightly. My phone has never fallen off of this holder. It's a little expensive, but it actually works and looks like a clean installation in your truck.

I really like this plate Mount. Very secure, nice and large magnet area. If you just have a magic mount case, I don't think it's going to hold on very tightly for you, but I use the little metal plates. It was easy to install and it's a nice size

Bought this to work with my ProClip for my 2025 F150. Just unscrewed the old holder and screwed this one on. Very sturdy. I have this paired with my S26 Ultra, ProClip Console Mount and Mybat Maverick Case. Makes it easy now to mount the phone with the cover on the case. Very happy.

I have used a magnetic phone holder in my car for years, but couldn't find a place to install one in my new car. I was hesitant to purchase this phone holder because of the price, but my husband LOVES his ProClip phone holder, so I thought I would try it. That and I was tired of throwing my phone in the passenger seat. I am SO happy I bought this. It fits perfectly in my car and puts my phone within easy reach. It allows you to tilt the magnet to the angle you prefer. It does not cover any vents, and it is not in the way of the info screen. I purchased this with the PC855801 ProClip Angled Dash Mount, and I couldn't be happier.

I see many reviews for this item complaining about magnet strength without identifying the phone and case that the reviewer used, which makes those reviews useless to others. Thank you to those who provided phone specifics in their reviews. I found the magnet strength very secure for an iPhone 15 Pro in an Apple silicone case with MagSafe. I attached the Scosche MagicMount to a ProClip base car mount in a 2018 Honda Odyssey. I tested it on a 4-hour road trip on interstate, local, and rural roads (but not off-road). I encountered some rough roads along with twisty roads. I experienced no phone detachment nor slip. I much preferred the magnet attachment over the more bulky, adjustable, slide-in ProClip phone attachment that I’ve used for about 10 years. It was easy to replace the ProClip adjustable phone mount with this magnetic phone mount. I selected this non charging magnetic mount for two reasons. I prefer wired charging, which extends battery life, because I keep iPhones in use in the family for 5-8 years. I want to maximize the life of the phone battery before having to replace the battery. And CarPlay in the 2018 Honda Odyssey requires a wired connection. Amazon’s review request for “suction” strength (applicable to suction cups and micro suction pads) and “adhesion” (applicable to adhesives) are not applicable to magnets. But I guess measurement of different types of attachment mechanisms all focus on how many pounds of pull the attachment can handle before breaking away. While I am not equipped nor qualified to measure magnet break away strength, I can comment on how well the phone mount held my iPhone 15 Pro in an Apple Silicone case with MagSafe, which was more than sufficient.
