I'd like to put them on four doors, so would I need to buy 2?** A: Hi, you will receive 100 sticky feet when you buy one pack, thats plenty to do your 4 doors and your neighbours house and possibly the whole street you are in , two sticky pads per door, top and bottom, so you need only 8 from the pack, leaving you 92 to stick on anything else you wish **Q: Is it water proof/resistant?** A: I had no idea, so I did an experiment ;-) I stuck one of the rubber feet to the bottom of a small glass and left it for twelve hours to make sure it was really stuck. Most adhesives work best if allowed a little time to 'settle' for a better grip. Then I left it soak in a bowl full of water for twenty four hours. If the water was going to seep in around the edges I figured this would be long enough to show any weakness. After this I did eventually manage to peel it off by wedging my thumbnail underneath it, but general pushing and shoving failed to budge it. I would expect - but obviously can't guarantee -them to stick under general wear, tear, and knocking if they get a good grip to start with. Hope this helps.. **Q: Will these work on shoes? Apparently this is a hack** A: Can't really answer without knowing the 'hack'. If it involves sticking them on the soles or heels I can see ta few problems. a) The surface you stick them to needs to be really clean for a good stick. b) If the use involves sideways or twisting stress, as it would if you were walking on them, they'll probably tear loose. c) if you were thinking of using them on insoles as an alternative to 'massage' insoles they'd probably not tick too well once they had to deal with sweat. d) Finally, if they're to serve as 'heel grips' inside the back of a shoe they'd probably be hideously uncomfortable, and no replacement for proper heel-grips from a shoe shop or wherever. Thanks.** A: I have only used these on cupboard doors to stop the doors getting damaged when opening on to other furniture. In my opinion they would not be that good to prevent a sofa sliding on a wooden floor I think they would not last long and they are very small.
