>>> DOES THE JOB --- and more
> These are great as drawer and cabinet bumpers --- mostly used to eliminate "bangs" when drawers or cabinets are shut. Larger sizes are great for doors. > The bumpers are fairly good under lamps, knick-knacks, etc. for protecting table, desk, etc. surfaces from scratches, especially for making things non-slip, but in my experience, may leave marks (and possibly damage varnished wood surfaces -- by concentrating pressure on smaller areas, and possibly trapping moisture). So, for this purpose, I prefer felty bumpers. > The main thing I use these for is raising buttons---on my alarm clock, on my electric toothbrush, on my mp3 player, on my TV remote controllers, etc.---so that I can find the right button by touch. Just today, I installed a bumper on my headphones, so that I can tell which is the right headphone by touch. One of the great things about these bumpers is that they are transparent---you can read the identification through them (particularly important on TV remotes). > Since I'm a touch-typist, I use the bumpers for keys just off the "home row" (such as tabs, caplock, (left) shift, [, ", (right) shift, also ` and =). Otherwise, I use them on keyboard keys which are often pressed by accident, such as "insert" or "num lock". Probably slightly larger flatter bumpers would be better for this purpose. > Caution --- These are NOT sliders --- they don't reduce friction, instead, they do the opposite --- they make things slip resistant. > INSTALLATION --- It is important to clean any surface that you want to apply the bumpers to. The last step in cleaning should be wiping the surface with alcohol and drying at least twice to remove any oil. Press the bumper hard in place for several seconds. It is a good idea to wash your hands first. Strongly avoid touching the adhesive surface of the bumpers. Large tweezers can be helpful when applying some of the smallest bumpers. If the surface is not clean, or you transfer skin oils from your fingertips to the adhesive surface of the bumpers, the bumpers will not stick well. > NOT dishwasher safe. If you put them (stuck to the bottom of a glass or ceramic item) through a dishwasher, they will fall off. > CAUTION: These are tiny. You probably want larger bumpers for most uses. Unless you are absolutely certain that you want 6mm bumpers (which, in use, look about 5mm in diameter), I recommend purchasing a variety pack, with a variety of shapes and sizes of bumpers.

Small, but mighty!
These are SMALL, but that's exactly what I wanted. Tiny dots to go anywhere I need a bumper. I put some on the back of a calculator, which is what I got them for, and they were the perfect size, but also used some on cupboards and they work great there too! I feel like I've written some pretty half hearted reviews lately, but I can say these really are exactly what I expected and needed.

Very small but work well
I recently repainted my kitchen cabinets and needed new bumpers for the doors and drawers to keep them from sticking to the frame as well as make it quieter when the doors and drawers were being closed. I knew these were going to be small but I didn’t realized how small. Regardless of size they still worked how I needed them to and have done a good job so far. I only had an issue with one of the bumpers sliding from where I placed it but other than that they all have pretty much stayed where they were placed. They are super easy to install and easy to used.

More handy than you know
I have some smart light switches that were poorly designed. They look great but have four buttons that are all very flat. Coming into a room, you cannot tell which button you are pressing. I ordered these specifically because they were small so I could put them on my light switches. At first, I almost didn't buy them because there were so many. I didn't want to waste them. But, they worked perfectly for the light switches. I can now easily feel the four separate buttons. I then started noticing several places in my house where a door would hit a wall, or a painting, etc. I started using these little bumpers in a lot of places. They hold very well with the adhesive and they are very clear and unnoticable. I would highly recommend. I now need to order another set.

Perfect Little 3M Brand Bumpers
Very shock absorbent. Other brand larger ones I ordered were rock hard. These small ones are a listed at .24” wide or 6mm which is the metric equivalent of 1/4”. Measured with a Brown & Sharpe caliper, they are .222”, much larger than negative reviews saying they’re 1/8” diameter. They’re about twice that large. I used them on outdoor mailbox I built. It has an oil finish & these little bumpers do a great job of cushioning shock but are short enough not to let rain in.

Look as advertised but not super sticky
The bumpers are pretty small but work OK. I have had the bumpers shift around a bit on my cabinet doors (unlike other bumpers). Maybe the adhesive isn't as good as it should be or just the small size. I'd get a bigger bumper next time.

Another excellent use you never thought of!
How many remote controls do you have near your 'entertainment center'? how many buttons and/or toggle switches do these remotes have? Forty? Fifty? Or MORE?! And, especially on the remotes that control cable boxes, TV's, etc., how often have you had to fumble with the remote when you were frantically trying to hit the MUTE button because something came on the screen that immediately drove you crazy (like lawyer commercials and political ads)?! These little buttons are the perfect solution. Just peel one of these little guys off the sheet and press it onto the MUTE button for a few seconds, and you'll always be able to put your finger on it -- FAST! Think: all those buttons on your remotes are flat! They may have different shapes, but when your fingers are on them, they all feel the same. And, if you hit the wrong button, you can mess everything up that you were watching, right? Maybe there's some other 'button' you want to find-without-fumbling? These sheets have 200 of these little buttons them, so have a ball! (Hope this helps....)

I got these little guys to act as little feet for a book cover I made. I didn't want the acrylic scratching on the surface I placed it on. They stick well got a few so should be easy to replace.
