Excellent paint quality and the guide on how to achieve leather and wood looks is very clear and you can create great looking texture

Good product

This is a useful selection of colours for painting wood and leather. There's a standard black, a pair of semi-transparent paints that I believe are best used as washes (smoke and woodgrain), and 5 different shades of brown. Smoke in particular seems like it will be useful for all sorts of things, when watered down it makes a lovely grime. The leaflet has a few short tutorials for using the included paints, they're written by Angel Giraldez and should be useful even to experienced painters (and they're cleverly written so that one tutorial shows off several different styles of wood).

At this point I'm starting to get a little obsessed with Vallejo paint sets. This sounds like a rather functional paint set, and, frankly, it is. However, the paint quality speaks for itself. The paint gives great coverage, flows well and gives some great texture to a model. The colour saturation is great and you get a really good finish. I've been buying these Vallejo sets at an alarming rate over the last few months and have not yet regretted a single purchase. The quality is as good as the other major paint companies such as citadel and army painter. They dry quickly and honestly cost a lot less than the other paint companies. Would recommend.

Always superb quality but I have to say that it's my most used selection. Doesn't need much watering down.

Although they are for miniature figurines,I paint with these and love them, nice and smooth Dont need much water, colors are amazing. Colors seem to keep their colors,they do dry quick and will need retardant gel if you need to mix or blend on big scale. The are bit expensive buying single , recommend sets.

Eines meiner Lieblingssets von Vallejo! Ich bin ein großer Fan von Vallejo und besonders liebe ich die zahlreichen gedeckten und natürlichen Farben. Hier bekommt man ein paar super schöne Farbtöne, um Holz und Leder zu gestalten. Außerdem liegt ein kleiner Folder mit Vorschlägen zur Anwendung bei. Schritt für Schritt sieht man da, wie man Holz und Leder nach der Idee des Vallejo-Teams gestalten kann. Hab's probiert und bin sehr zufrieden. Besonders der Vorschlag für Leder hat mir sehr gefallen! Klare Kaufempfehlung
