Great machine! Easy to use.
So I have had this fax in my office for about 2 weeks now. My office is a mid size office. We send about 50 faxes a day and receive in about 100 to 150 a day. It has workes GREAT. We love it. Our last fax sounded like a cat in a garbage disposal for the last few weeks we had it so this fax (as quiet as it is) was a blessed relieve.I donât really have any issues to report. It prints fast, holds a lot of paper in the bin (about 250 pages). The only thing that threw me off was that you put the papers face UP rather then face down to fax. But other then that the set up was easy to do (about 40 minutes all together and that included entering in all 50 of the speed dial contacts). The toner just today stated it was getting low. So it lasted about two weeks BUT it was the starter toner so we didnât expect it to last longer then this. It seems about the same time frame as our last fax machine toner. And the toner is the same price as our last one so thatâs a good sign. All in all I would suggest this fax machine to anyone who has a low to midsize office. It works great.

Canon Faxphone L100 (5258B001) Laser Printer and Copier
I really like this fax/printer. Since I am currently vision impaired, I had to call Canon Customer Service to walk me through setting it up for use, and they were great, got me up and going in no time, ran tests to verify all is working good. You will need to purchase a 10ft USB A to USB B Printer Cable to use as a photo copier from your computer, usually under $10.00, I believe that the other models are set up for cordless printing.

I am sorry, but I will have to give this fax machine a one star very complicated to set up once I got it set up. I had to call Canon because it was still not working so I just ended up returning it.

Great Affordable Multifunction Machine
My old Cannon MF6180DW machine broke and needed a replacement fax and copier. This machine was super affordable and my primary need was to have a backup fax machine in my office (fax machines are getting rare). This machine is attractive, easy to use, and performs all the basics well. Super easy to set up as well. Highly recommended for a budget multipurpose machine.

Don't Accidentally Disable USB Port
The listing claims Connectivity Technology: "Wireless" and Print Media: "Fabric" but neither is true (for which I removed a star). However, the machine sends and receives faxes and prints on paper just fine on Windows 10. It is also light enough for an older person to lift, with convenient handholds to prevent pinching your fingers when setting it down.At first, I couldn't get the USB to connect so I could print, but I later realized my mistake:The online HTML manual (not the PDF one), says to choose ON or OFF to "Specify whether to use USB devices connected to the machine. Once this setting is enabled, the USB port on the back of the machine is disabled." I assumed that meant that ON would enable the setting and disable the USB port, but it actually works in the reverse! Keeps this in mind if you can't get the USB port to function.

Very nice fax. Highly recommend
Very nice fax. Easy to set up and simple to use. Makes nice copies. I ordered this for my sister who has maculardegeneration and has a very hard time seeing things. And she needed a stand alone fax. The key pad is on top and the screen is in white which helps her to see the menu etc. Other faxes like this were up to $400. Highly recommend this fax/copier. It is not colored which she did not want because the required multiple ink cartridges are so expensive for color fax/printers. The ink cartridge for this fax is one cartridge and very affordable.

Does not let phone ring but once before fax starts.
I use it as phone and fax. I tried to set it for 3 or 4 rings but it only rings once before the fax starts.

Has worked flawlessly since I bought it 2 months ago.
Top loading feeder is fast and quiet. It has not jammed on me except when I used wrinkled paper. The paper storage bin has plenty of capacity. Instead of installing the handset I plugged a cordless phone in back and use the fax line as a spare. Print quality is good. Lots of programmable options. The downside is that the toner cartridge 128 is expensive. You can use generic cartridges that are much cheaper with no loss of quality. The Blake 128 replacement worked well for me. What you need to know is that the fax machine appears to be programmed to display an error message, " check cartridge" when a generic one is installed, even when it is working perfectly. You just have to ignore the message.I would purchase this again.
