Incredibly easy to use microwave that looks good, door locks with a press of button on door handle!
Wonderful microwave. Super easy to use. Love the door lock that you must press in for it to open. YOu dont have to worry about a child simply opening it and spilling something hot....this microwave looks good, works great, easy to use. It is just the perfect size. Not too small and not too big! Buy it!

Very nice product well worth the money!
I am so happy I purchased this Toshiba microwave has a child proof handle. A child cannot open it. You have to lift up a knob behind the handle to open the door, which is simple for an adult. It has the own off quiet switch so you don’t have to hear the noise when you’re pushing the buttons noise gets on my nerves so I especially bought this one for the noise off switch which you disengage by pressing the number eight key for three seconds nice looking and matches all my appliances in my kitchen great product no problems whatsoever love it!!!

Great and no inverter to die faster, this should last a long time, GROK says so.
Had it a month and so far worked great. GROK recommended this model because it doesn't have an INVERTER which case I have read horror stories of those going out, especially in my old Panasonic 1200 watt microwave. GROK said this one should last a while :) which is why I got it and for the last month i have had it, has worked well, no issues. It is slightly smaller in size than my old Panasonic 1.2 and the wattage is 1,000 so allow more cook time by a few extra seconds on things. Otherwise it seems great so far. Door function is fine, not an issue. Color is good, Installation is straight forward, find a spot, add the dish inside and then plug it in. Set clock and we're good to go. Seems stability is good, this was a good replacement for my old unit. The noise level is quiet.

I good microwave with a few annoying features
This is a decent microwave. It's reasonable small, powerful, and so quiet I sometimes double check to make sure it's running. There are a few annoying features, however, and they are a major pain. First and foremost, the location of the STOP button is on the bottom right of the control pad, directly below the COOK TIME button. I bought this Microwave on 13 February, and my wife and I are STILL entering the cook time and then dropping our finger down, hitting the STOP button, and cancelling out what we have entered. After 2+ months of heavy use, I would say it is a design issue. The START button is on the bottom left of the keypad. I would humbly suggest to the Toshiba engineers that they reverse those two controls, putting the START button on the right, directly below the POWER button, and moving the STOP button to the left, under the POWER button. The other two features that are a pain are the SOFTEN/MELT and the ECO mode. If you look at the photo of the keypad, you won't find an ECO MODE button anywhere. You need to use the STOP button to enter and exit the ECO (energy saving) mode. Defrost and Soften/Melt functions are both confusing. Good luck using anything but the 1 lb Defrost setting without the operation manual in hand. You won't figure it out on your own. And the Soften/Melt mode is just as confusing. You press the Soften/Melt button up to 5 times (S1, S2, S3, S4, and S5. I have NO IDEA what the difference is between them. And after choosing one of those , you can't just press START. That would be EASY. Nope. Then he instruction manual says the following: "After selecting SC function, press a number pad to to select the weight or portion of food item. Press START to cook. AUTO flashes in the display." Confused? I am. I have no idea what the difference is between SC1 and SC5, or how to use the number pad to select weight or portion. The two things are quite different. So, the bottom line: this is a good quality, compact, powerful microwave. If you want to boil water, time cook, or use the 1 lb defrost, using it is a snap (except for inadvertently hitting the stop button because of its placement). A soon as you want to use more "advanced" functions, you had better have the Instruction Manual handy. And even then, you might still be scratching your head, trying to figure out what everything means and how to use those features. It is unnecessarily complicated. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It works fine. It's just a pain in the butt to use the controls.

Great for the price
Great microwave and works well when heating up food items. Does heat up a lot better than my old microwave and fits perfect in the spot I need it to be. The color is super nice and the installation is simple.

Fantastic microwave
I bought this microwave to replace a very old microwave that had issues. My old microwave's keypad was failing and the paint on the inside was badly rotting away. So it was time to buy a new microwave. I also purchased a microwave plate cover to protect this new microwave from splatter. The splatter is what caused my old microwave's paint to chip away. If you have food splatter (like pasta sauce) inside the microwave, then you turn the microwave on. You'll cook the paint job. Over time the paint will start to chip away. So i bought this plate cover and so far it's keeping the microwave clean: (i included a photo of the plate cover inside the microwave) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KVK337M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Pros: - Cooking - It cooks really well. I was surprised to find out this cooks a bit better than my old microwave. Seems to cook more evenly. Cooks just as fast as my old microwave (similar wattage) My old microwave: 1,000 watts This Toshiba: 1,100 watts - Touch pad (East To Use) - Nice simple touch pad. It works well. Lots of quick touch options. The "One touch start" is great, press 1 for 1 minute, 2 for 2 minutes, etc... good for older people. Not complicated to figure out. - Instruction Label - It has a label on the inside the microwave with info / instructions for cooking different things (defrost, melt, popcorn, etc) so you have that info available to you anytime. - Noise Level (Cooking noise) - It does make noise like all microwaves do but the noise it makes is actually pretty quiet. Much more quiet than my old microwave. The noise it makes is an odd buzzing noise when you turn it on to cook. At first i thought that buzzing noise it was making was a bad sign but that's just the noise it makes. Not an issue. Just a new sound to a different microwave. - Keypad Beep noise - You can turn off the beep noise of the keypad. I turned it off to test it, it works. But i turned it back on just because i then realized i enjoy hearing the beep noise feedback. - Child safety - There is a safety option, at first i thought if i activate it, it would prevent the door from opening but that's not how it works. If you activate it, you can still open the door. But the microwave won't function until you turn off the lock via the keypad. A little lock icon will appear on the LCD screen to let you know it's locked. So after every time you finish using the microwave you will have to turn the lock option on. When you want to use it, turn lock option off. If you have kids it might be worth the extra steps to lock / unlock it, otherwise it's not worth using. - Microwave color - It looks stylish. Especially if you have black / chrome around the kitchen. It's also fine with white also. Cons: - The stainless steel on the door is a "finger print magnet". If you touch it, it will create smear marks. The handle has the chrome also. (i included a photo of that) - Color options - One thing i noticed when trying to buy a microwave. The color options are very limited. I do wish this microwave had more color options. I originally was hoping to get a 100% white microwave or at least get this same color microwave but have the black be in the color of white or even 100% silver but it's not an option. It's fine though. It still looks pretty good. - Clock - Not really a huge complaint, but if you unplug the microwave, the clock gets reset automatically. I think this is an issue with all microwaves. Would be nice if it could save the time when not plugged in. Because if you accidentally unplug it, then you have to set the time again. Summary: I haven't fully tested ALL the cooking features. But for basic everyday use of quickly heating / cooking things, it works well, cooks well. Great microwave. Worth spending money on as it's an investment that should last for many years.

So good, we're buying it again.
After 5 years, 1 month, and 3 weeks of daily use, our favorite kitchen appliance has bit the dust. After we stopped crying and said thank you to our dear friend for its years of service, we searched our Amazon purchase history and were elated to see this microwave is still available for purchase. It will be a long two days without it, but we're excited to welcome Toshi Junior to the family. Why are we repurchasing this Toshiba countertop microwave? Until today, it worked perfectly every time, heating food evenly and maintaining its power over the years. It's a nice size. I would consider this full sized (I've never not been able to fit something in it), but it's compact enough to fit on a shelf in our pantry. It's simple to use, the buttons make sense. The glass turntable is nice and easy to clean. The interior never stained even with a certain family member never covering their dish and splattering sauces everywhere on a regular basis. And it's a great value. Highly recommend. Update: The new microwave arrived. I literally clicked "purchase again" from my order history, so we expected to receive the same product. It's slightly different. A little smaller. The handle operates differently (you can't just pull the door open anymore) and the add 30 seconds button doesn't work the same as on the older model. We find this irritating, but if you're not used to the old function, you might not find the new limitation annoying. We still endorse this microwave. It's a good value and it works well. Hopefully this one lasts at least 5 years like the last one did.

Very powerful
This microwave heats food up faster on the high settings than anything i have ever used. The handle is not very intuitive however, takes some getting used to to open it. Defrost is weird, kinda inconsistent and uneven but functional. Sensor is a little agressive and much slower than just setting time and guessing, but is accurate.

All the functions work better than I expected
Best microwave I have bought in a decade. All the features work great. Especially the baked potato function and the reheat function. The only thing that took some getting used to was the button on the handle to open the door. It’s the first microwave I have owned like this. The first few times I used it I almost pulled it off the shelf because I forgot you don’t just pull the door open like my other ones.

Funcional y elegante
Es un horno muy funcional y además elegante; no tuve la precaución de tomar medidas de la altura del horno, por lo que tuve que colocarlo en otro lugar, así que la recomendación es que no omitan ninguna de las medidas.
