Neudorff 775 Thermo Composter 530 L DuoTherm

This is a superb product. It is brilliantly designed, and so incredibly easy to assemble. It would be just as easy to Take apart and reassemble too, if I wanted to move it elsewhere. It looks good too. I have had no luck before making successful compost, but this time I'm sure I'm on a winning streak. Withing 24 hours of filling it, the temperature in the middle was 65 degrees celsius, and has stayed there for nearly a week so far, and the contents smell lovely. I bought a cheap 50cm compost thermometer elsewhere on Amazon, and this is invaluable and accurate. The composter has a useful 'hole' moulded into the front for inserting the probe - you just have to pierce the inner wall with a drill. You can leave the probe in place permanently. I note what others have said about the door 'bowing' a bit when fully loaded. this is just a minor 'niggle' . I shall probably clip a long bungee strap around it just in case, or consider pop-riveting a couple of metal clips to make it look a bit more professional. Over all, though, I am so delighted with this lovely composter. I shall probably buy a second one. Fabulous!

Big, easy to assemble with simple clips. Gets warm even in cool weather and hot in warm weather so clearly rots things well. The catch on the door however is flimsy and when you have a full composter it bulges open and even gives way. Am pretty sure that I will have to modify this before long. Sad as otherwise good.

Good quality mouldings that fit together well to make a nice big compost bin. Sited behind my greenhouse and been filling for a couple of years now, still looks like new and making lovely compost. It has also become home for all the usual insects and worms (and also at least three or four slow worms) that help break down all the waste material into the compost. More expensive than some that are available but more than justified the extra outlay.

Excellent, really pleased with this composter, bought on the strength of other reviews. Quick courier delivery from Munich, good robust moulded double wall construction. Instructions in German, but it really is intuitive to put together. Basically line up the side walls and fasten together using the supplied toggle clips - (of course this means that you could always disassemble it if required in the future). Put it on a level piece of ground and square it off, then fit the double lid using the supplied hinge pins. Ours came with two access doors at the base, so you can have ‘front and back’ or ‘front and side’ - it doesn’t seem to matter which order the side panels go in.

Mine is all set and full of all sorts of garden rubbish now. So, lets see how this goes. But i just wanted to record how pleased i am with the setting up process which is extremely straight fwd!! Well thought out!!! I bought another make of compost maker with a doable, but rather less st fwd install. Well, its been a couple of months since i submitted this review and the positives melted away in practical use. Yes, the bin is easy to put together,. But after filling it with compost material, the securing pegs started flying off!!! In fact i will have to completely empty it and re-install, fill it up with less material and cross fingers. I did write to the seller and they said they wanted to see a photo, which i sent -- but i didnt hear anything after. Unfortunately, i had bought a second one after being impressed with the 1st one and before its started coming apart -- well, by bad luck i guess. But i will not be buying this again. I have other compost bins, for example, Thermo-Composter 450–K which dont suffer this problem in use. These are working well for me and not breaking apart with use.

Came early well made apart from door but I'll soon strengthen that up just got to wait for it to start working I'll come back once I can see how well it's doing.

A nice composter and easy to assemble. I did miss the plastic pins for attaching the lid, and contacted the company, who were amazingly quick and helpful in their response. I was really impressed by this.

Loving htese i bought two.. Had an issue with my dog going over and rooting through the compost. Put these up and the area is so much better and cleaner with these up - their big enough to take a lot of contents.

We hebben deze compostbak nog maar kort. Je ziet nu al een duidelijk verschil met de oude enkel wandige. Deze wordt veel warmer. Je voelt het al als je de deksel open maakt. Wij zijn benieuwd naar het resultaat!

Schneller Versand und die Verpackung schützte ausreichend, so dass keine Teile defekt waren. Der Zusammenbau war leicht (ich habe ihn alleine aufgebaut) aber zeitaufwendig, weil man die 16 Verriegelungsstücke von einem Spritzgussteil abschneiden mußte. Dies wurde durch die verschachtelte Anordnung der Teile am Spritzbaum erschwert. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau, verglichen mit anderen Plastikplunder-Kompostern... Die doppelwandigen Seitenteile machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck und der Komposter ist stabil und steht stabil, wenn man ihn korrekt "im Wasser stehend" aufbaut. Die beiden Deckel schließen gut und sind ausreichend schwer, um auch bei stärkerem Wind geschlossen zu bleiben. Die beiden Unwetter im Mai und Juni haben sie locker weggesteckt. Dennoch würde ich mir einen Verschluss für die Deckel wünschen, denn die Herbststürme sind meistens noch heftiger. Alles in allem richtig gute Qualität, die den Preis wirklich wert ist.

Un po' delicato forse

J'ai acheté mon premier composteur Neudorff il y a 5 ans (un modèle un peu plus petit que celui-ci), il est toujours comme neuf. Quand j'ai eu besoin d'un 2e composteur, j'ai pris ce modèle-ci, toujours avec les mêmes qualités : ouvertures et fermetures très pratiques, montage et démontage enfantins, couleur et forme plutôt esthétiques pour un composteur. Il résiste très bien au vent et au soleil de Provence.

Veramente un ottimo prodotto peccato che a parte devi comprarti la rete anti ratto..... altrimenti avrei dato 5 stelle
