Fabulous bit of kit.. works well and gives you perfect boiled, poached and omlette.. there’s a booklet with it so you can perfect how well your eggs are cooked. The only downside is that it is quite small bit in turn it doesn’t take up too much counter or storage space. You get a good portion

I owned a different brand a few years ago and was very happy with it, but it disappeared when one of my kids moved out :) I have used this extensively for a few weeks, making boiled eggs, omelettes and poached eggs. It is easy and straightforward to use, and I am happy with the results. - for omelette or poached eggs you must lightly coat the tray used with either a thin smear of butter or oil. This stops the eggs sticking. I prefer to use butter as I find oil sometimes flavours the eggs. You will probably need to experiment with how much water to use for poached or omelette to make them how you like. Less water = shorter cooking time. I found that the recommendations in the instruction manual were cooking poached and omelettes too much for my liking. The instruction manual suggests a 2-egg omelette, but I have made 3 egg omelettes without problem, using large eggs. Just to be clear, your omelette will be 12cm (4.75 inches) in diameter. I have attached photos of the results. As you see the omelette has a bubbly texture, I do not know if this is due to the butter (although I only smear as little as I can), but I have yet to try with oil in this machine. But the taste of the omelette and the poached eggs are fine. It will not replace cooking an omelette in a pan and adding fillings, but it is quick and easy and a different way to eat/cook eggs. Regarding the machine itself: - once the cooking time is finished, a buzzer sounds and the device cuts the heat, but does not actually switch off. If you leave it alone, then as it cools down, the heater will switch back on. Once the buzzer sounds you need to switch it off manually. (some other makes do not have a buzzer or other alarm, but simply switch off at the end of the cooking time). - minerals in the water can leave the hot-plate with brown stain, I find it cleans off very easily with a soapy sponge. I am very happy with this machine, and especially for boiled eggs, I find it much more convenient than boiling in a pan.

This product is absolutely brilliant for boiling eggs. You can boil up to six. It switches off automatically at whatever texture you want. The egg it's easy to clean and the eggs are delicious. Comes with the instructions and it also switches off automatically with the audible buzzer To inform you that your eggs are done. I was surprised how cheap it was but it saved so much money because before I had to boil my eggs on the gas now 6 minutes and you've got perfect eggs. You can also scramble or poach your eggs in this as well.

A great addition to our kitchen. So much easier to make eggs. I only do boiled eggs, but my wife even likes the omelette. So great purchase for a reasonable price.

After first use... The silver dish looks burnt (rusty) and looks damaged and limescaled... Apart from that the medium water eggs was perfect. i made with three eggs and ate all three. Not sure if worth £15.99 due to silver looking burnt as the stain is brown and does not come off, can t you imagine after 10 cooks what the plate will look like.

Brilliant little helper for breakfast. Yes there is some residue left after cooking the eggs but is easy to clean it with distilled vinegar, so for me is not a problem at all and it hasn't put me off of using it. My eggs are perfect every time. I have a minor complain though, the alarm that tells you the eggs are done is quite annoying.

Delivery was very prompt and well packaged. I found it relatively easy to use. My first soft boiled egg was just right! I do find the markings on the measure quite difficult to see and they are important to get things right. I used distilled water as suggested but there are a few spots left on the heating tray and only wiped clean. The omelette was amazing. I have attached pics to show where heating plate is marked and one of the amazing omelette The point for piercing egg doesn’t work too well. The last anticipated boiled egg became a scrambled egg! I can find other means. I am still happy with my purchase. Follow up Tried poacher I used 2 large eggs which just fit. However they were slightly undercooked (white not completely cooked ) so will probably not try large eggs or do one only. Trial and error

Great little gadget. I used it straight away and was pleasantly surprised with the result.
