Rat Box Catcher - Catches Rats with Snap Trap - No Poison

This trap looks like it will do the job. Box well made, trap looks ok as an efficient rat killer, BUT Item came with no instructions, which would have been useful. Lid locks shut which is a good safety point, but it is a awkard to open with the supplied key, (once you know which one to use and how to open, as there are no instructions).

This arrived with no instructions - After looking at it - I had to look up how to use it via the internet and found out is was important not to handle the trap without putting gloves on because rats can smell human scent.

On paper, it seems just what we wanted and it is well made, though as others have mentioned, a simple instruction sheet would not go amiss. My problem is that the rat has to manoevre around a couple of bends to get at the treat, but as we have not caught anything in the last few weeks (ever) apart from a small mouse, I suspect our rats are too large to get to the action, but will keep trying....

Box is well made but did not come with trap. Not worth sending back, using as bait box.
