You’ll always be ready to write with the BiC Matic Fun mechanical pencil in cheerful eye-catching colours. It's retractable so it never needs sharpening. It comes with 3 9 cm-long 0.7 mm HB leads that write smooth even lines. Easily erase the graphite lead with the white eraser built into the end. This pouch of 5 contains mechanical pencils (1 green, 2 blue, 1 yellow and 1 pink bodies). Proudly made at the BiC plants in Europe based on unmatched expertise passed down the generations. With the acquisition of the Conté brand in 1979, the BiC Group carried on a long legacy of expertise in graphite lead. The sturdy, lightweight, high-performance BiC Matic mechanical pencil is great in any situation, from writing notes to drawing and it’s also the perfect pencil for doing sudoku and crosswords. Plus, with three leads tucked inside each one, they genuinely last for ages before you need a replacement. My only real niggle is the little white eraser on the end. It is a bit on the small side, and if you use it heavily, it wears down to the plastic casing quite quickly. Once that happens, you have to be careful not to scratch the paper. It is perfectly fine for rubbing out a quick slip of the hand, but if you tend to make a lot of mistakes, you will probably want a proper standalone rubber nearby. Pro Tip: To get the absolute most out of each lead, try to only click out a tiny amount at a time-just enough to write with. If you let the lead get too long, it is much more prone to snapping under pressure, which just wastes the pencil. Keeping it short keeps it sturdy.

**Q: Can these be refilled?**
A: According to my teens, yes they can. As long as you don't wear down the eraser at the end as that needs to be pulled out in order to do it. They also have 2 leads in them.

A: I dont know i haven't tried, but logically i dont think it will, cos it'll be loose and have a grio to hold it in.
