I stripped a lot of wires but I've been stripping some thin wires and the wire is greasy or something is on them. I'm trying to find out if it's the machine or just the wires. Some wires are clean then others are half greasy or the entire piece is. I've cleaned the stripper and it's still happening. I've been running some small wire through that I thought was too small. I keep it tight and straight with one hand and use my drill with the other and it strips it. A couple spots I have to use my razor knife, but this wire stripper has saved me a lot of time. I wish I would've bought the electric one. For smaller wires put the plate down as far as it'll go so you have to push the wire UP to the blade. I found the bottom wheel holds the wire in place better than feeding the wire straight through the hole even to the cutting wheel. It kept falling and not cutting.

It cuts wire real good, easy to use, just cut the plastic off and it works perfectly, worth the money, very sharp

I originally rated this one star but as time went on and I was forced to use it more I found out that I was the problem the machine works great I really enjoy it now thank you.

This thing is awesome. Stripped a whole 55 gal drum of wire in less than an hour and its still sharp. Very easy to setup and use. Just make sure your cordless batteries are charged. More satisfied with this than any stripper I've ever known.

Takes a lot of time to get it set up for each type and diameter wire. I found that I couldn’t feed the wire straight in but had to hold it up at an angle going in otherwise it would ride up on the side of the cutting wheel instead of staying in the center. The machine is very well built, I was impressed. Once it’s set up properly, it works great. Can’t imagine how much time it saves.

this is possibly one of the best versions i have used. To many times when you use the drill powered versions it pushes the cord out weird or it just breaks because it cant handle the amount you are doing we ran and stripped over 2000 ft in 1 day without a single hiccup!

It does the job. It is good for the wires starting now and up. I secured on the table.

Mine is not working good… made sure all screws are tight before use… and sure enough…. The right side wheel continues to come loose and won’t work correctly 🤦 Well still no reply from the company that I got this from. The gear on the one side moves. The set screw never holds so it is useless to use.

Definitely works better on solid core wires, if you use it on stranded be ready for some cleanup and definitely wear gloves cuz you'll get poked if you don't. Decent machine otherwise.
