Vintage Library Card Beaded Bookmark

This is a piece of history which accompanied an historical novel for my sister in law. I'm sure she has many bookmarks, as she is a librarian, but I liked the relevance of the subject matter.

Was looking for a new bookmark and came across this vintage library card bookmark, and just knew I had to have it when I noticed the name at the top is my last name and also the date due at the top is my birthday so it was a given. Good quality bookmark!

Such lovely memories of times past. Bought for myself but liked so much that I’m now about to buy half a dozen more for friends & relatives who I know will enjoy just as much as I do as we were all avid users of libraries in our childhood & beyond. Such a pretty, practical item with the added bonus of bringing a smile to the face as we remember the pleasure and excitement of borrowing books…

I love this bookmark! It looks just like the old-school library cards and gives me such a nostalgic feeling every time I open my book. The quality is great—sturdy enough to last but still thin so it doesn’t bulk up the pages. I also like that it has plenty of space to jot little notes or dates if I want. So super cute. Perfect size and good quality. The words are raised which gives it more character. Would totally buy again or recommend to others
