Now, I’m nearsighted, and mornings before I’ve put in my contacts are a bit of a blurry mess. But this scale has a large, bright LED display that I can actually read without squinting like I’m deciphering ancient runes. Big win. Here’s what I love: Accurate AF. I weighed myself three times in a row just to test it (also because I was in denial), and it gave me the exact same number. No shady fluctuations. Instant-on feature. I step on, it lights up, tells me what I need to know, and we go our separate ways. No tapping, waiting, or negotiating required. Auto shut-off. Once it delivers the news, it ghosts me in a very healthy-boundaries kind of way. Switches between lb/kg/st. Not that I need to know what I weigh in stones, but it’s nice to feel international sometimes. Includes 3 AAA batteries. Because nothing ruins a “new toy” mood like finding out you need to raid your TV remote for batteries. A few quick tips: put it on a flat, hard surface. I tried it on my super plush bath mat and the results were… optimistic. Also, don’t move it around too much between weigh-ins unless you want it to throw a little digital tantrum that says “CAL” (which is code for: “Ma’am, I need a second to recalibrate because you spun me like a Roomba”). This scale is sleek, easy to read, and works perfectly. The only problem is that it’s actually accurate. I was really hoping it would have a "complimentary mode" where it just subtracts ten pounds to make me feel better about that pizza last night, but unfortunately, it sticks to the facts. It’s super consistent. I stepped on and off three times just to see if I could catch it lying, but it gave me the same number every time. It’s thin enough to slide under the cabinet when I’m mad at it, but pretty enough that I don't mind it being out. If you’re looking for a scale that won't sugarcoat your reality, this is the one! Just be prepared for the truth.

Easy to read, seems very well made, heavy for its size, and consistent on the weight but the scale is a bit small. They really needed to add 1+ inch all around this platform. The Vitafit scale you must be barefoot as me with a 11 US Size shoe barefoot i almost fill this scale up. If you wear larger than size 12 men's shoe, this scale is probably too small for you barefoot. Picture comparing to the 15 year old scale that broke to the Vitafit with size 11 shoes on both. 5 star scale, reduced to 4 star because it really needed to be a tad larger for the normal population of people. For $15 bucks or so, it's a great deal. Consider avoiding the smart scales as 80% to 90% of their BMI, Fat %, muscle % is simply math on height/weight/gender 10% to 20% adjustment based on the sensors. 1000% higher price ($150 scale) for 10% to 20% more accurate readings on these other measurements than simple rote math any app can give you an estimate of. This scale is simply weight, no smart recording of any type, nothing fancy to be clear. Perfect for me.

I was skeptical that a scale with such a low price tag would be as good as this scale turned out to be. I was replacing our older scale which was very accurate but only measured in 1/2 pound increments, and you had to trigger the scale with a quick foot tap to wake it up. This scale allows you to just step on it and it will quickly zero itself, then show your weight. You can step on and off and back on several times and you'll get the same consistent reading. We chose the black model, and its plain surface design is simple and elegant and I imagine that it'll fit well in any bathroom decor. We've had it for a few weeks now and plan to keep it.

Wer eine zuverlässige Waage sucht, die einfach nur das Gewicht misst, ohne direkt eine Verbindung zum Smartphone oder zur Smartwatch zu erzwingen, ist hier genau richtig. Genauigkeit & Geschwindigkeit: Die Präzision auf 0,05 kg ist für diesen Preisbereich hervorragend. Die Messung erfolgt sehr schnell: Man steigt auf die Glasplatte, die automatische Kalibrierung greift sofort und das Ergebnis wird stabil angezeigt. Die Messergebnisse sind dabei zuverlässig und konsistent. Design & Verarbeitung: Die Waage besticht durch ihr schlichtes Design. Die Trittplatte aus Glas wirkt sehr hochwertig und ansprechend. Auf der Rückseite sorgen vier Kunststofffüße dafür, dass die Waage selbst auf glatten Fliesen im Badezimmer stabil steht und nicht verrutscht. Da die Oberfläche aus Glas besteht, sieht man natürlich gelegentlich Fußabdrücke und Staub, aber mit einem kurzen Wisch ist alles wieder sauber. Ablesbarkeit: Das LED-Display ist hell und kristallklar. Man kann die großen Ziffern selbst im Dunkeln oder bei schwierigen Lichtverhältnissen einwandfrei ablesen. Batterielaufzeit & Handhabung: Drei AAA-Batterien sind direkt im Lieferumfang enthalten. Bei mir halten diese bei täglich einmaligem Wiegen etwa 4 bis 5 Monate. Über einen Schalter an der Unterseite lassen sich zudem unkompliziert die Gewichtseinheiten wechseln. Preis-Leistung: Ich war anfangs skeptisch, da der Preis erstaunlich niedrig war. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass die Qualität so gut ausfällt, wurde aber positiv überrascht. Sie nimmt auf dem Boden kaum Platz weg und sieht dabei noch elegant aus. Mein Fazit: Eine schicke, kompakte und vor allem günstige Waage, die genau das tut, was sie soll. Wer auf unnötige Zusatzfunktionen verzichten kann und Wert auf eine schnelle, genaue Messung legt, macht hier absolut nichts falsch!
