The connections are solid as is the cradle. The contacts for the device are better than the Sony device supplied charger. However if your device no longer operates, do not assume this charger will revive it. The failure is in the device.

Funciona perfectamente tanto para cargar los auriculares como para comunicar datos con el ordenador. Perdí el original y sin este cargador mis auriculares no podían funcionar. El precio del producto muy adecuado.
