3 dimensional. I filled them with small rocks so they don't blow away.

Will these work for chupmunks in my plants?

Probably not, mainly for birds they have helped inside my barn. You need the ultrasonic solar repeller, they work wonders for little critters. It senses little critters and you can set it to the owl noise to scare them off.
