This one simply out-performs itself, on price, performance, and attractiveness. I've already mentioned price, so next up is performance. This has no fancy 2-step setup, involving preliminary fit, followed by a screw-tightening operation. It's a simple squeeze and clamp operation, with a strong spring to hold down the strings, and good cushioning to protect the rear of the neck. And attractiveness? Smooth nickel finish, tapered shape on the string clamping area .. I can't go on, because I'm speechless ... I got the idea of personalising the capo from a YouTube lesson, and after some fruitless research, I finally stumbled on a local shoe repair shop, who carried out the job beautifully. As so often is the case, the engraving cost more than the item. But since the total I paid for both was less than £30, I'm not complaining.
