A must have if you’re camping in a spot where the sun rises or sets in its path and you need shade. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not for "real" wind, but good for extra shade and a bit of rain *by A***Y on May 23, 2024* We tried to use this in a pretty good amount of wind - 20mph, gusts to 25/30 - and it wanted to basically destroy the awning. The angle makes it press down on the crossbars extremely hard. So in a sense I guess it keeps the awning from wanting to lift off the ground but in doing that it potential smashes it and bends the bars.
