This little lens does what it says. It captures true fish eye on your camera. Just be aware the edges of the image have a decent amount of blurring. But for this price and this size it's to be expected

This is a very high quality fish eye lens that works well with the iPhone 14 Pro Max cage. The material is thick, heavy metal and the glass is clear. I like the super wide angle it gives you while shooting photos or videos. It is a threaded lens so it works with a cage or backplate that has 17mm threaded port. At the time of this review it was priced at $55 which I feel is a good price for a high quality lens. It also comes with a nice carrying/storage case to keep it clean. Highly recommend.

I happen to have a clip-on style that fits, with a mini lens kit I bought several years ago that I have not figured out how to make work properly. There are issues with a clip-on lens that make me frustrated because you have to keep fidgeting with the clip until it sits just right on the camera lens. If you can get it spot on within a few tries then this will be a breeze to use. I can say with a tiny bit of time I tried this out, it does get the wide-angle view after you get it on the camera lens correctly. The problem is with the clip-on, and you have several camera lenses on your phone- sometimes the phone picks the best lens for you. If you can change that in the settings then you might have better playing with this lens. Unless you get the phone case adapter then it will be spot on where it needs to be and closer to your camera lens. The clip leaves a gap it is not as closely fitted as I would like for a much crisper clearer image. This also could be due to the case which I took off, but also the lens protectors I have on my phone lenses which create thickness. I prefer to make my phone fully protected than to worry about fun photos with lenses, but if I ever decide to take those protective lens covers off I might try playing with my lenses and adapter to see if this is the case as to why it does or does not work the way I want it to. That said, this lens does work well, but you will have to invest in something that will hold in place for your phone or digital camera. It would be nice if they gave a compatible suggested link to the right phone case for Samsung S22 and the others this lens is compatible with. That will take some research.

Even in the center the images lack detailed even at 50 Mpix. It gets worse fast outside the center. The field of view is exactly what I like about fish eye lenses but the poor quality makes it a toy for a 7 year-old.

I attached this to my IPhone 13 Pro Max using A Smallrig case that has 17 mm threaded attachment. The pictures are stunning, I put three pictures for comparison, the first is using regular iPhone photo , the second using IPhone native fisheye lens, the third is using Neewer fisheye lens which captures way more.

You can usually count on Neewer products to be better than most of their competitors - and I find that to be the case with this 8mm fisheye lens. It is easy to attach/use - much better than the clip-on lenses - and captures high-quality large field-of-view images. It is lightweight and well-built so I expect it to have good long-term durability.

A great addition for when i make videos of my houses that i am a realtor. It attaches easily to my phone case and enables me to use my phone’s camera instead of an expensive camera. I love it!

Works great with my universal phone lens clip. Way better than that $20 you just bought. No blur or distortion. Looks like a pro camera/fisheye setup.

Lots of spheric aberation but ok in the middle…as expected. Not as sharp overall as I was hoping for consider it is not the cheapest mobile lens out there

The lens feels very weighty and could instantly tell that it was of high quaity. Quick note: the lens itself shows very clear quality video, however as I do not yet have the case I was being clumsy with the video hence not true quality compared to having the lens locked into a case on your phone. The lens comes in a hard plastic shield which can they be placed inside the hard shell soft interior carrying case for transport and on the go. A microfibre towel is included for a smudge free experience. I will update this review with more pictures once I have the case to truly test the lens, but so far having used it holding up to the camera, the results are amazing. Truly a wide angle with tons more of the surrounding being included in the picture. Overall, with the addition of the locking case, this fish eye lens is a perfect tool for the casual or professional phone photographer in you!

The resulting video or photo is extremely blurry on the edges! My guess is that only 70% of the frame is usable! Not recommended!
