I purchased two of these 30m Cat 6a reels to install a much-needed wired "backbone" for our home network. With a new gaming PC in the house, my own remote work laptop requirements, and a constant stream of traffic from multiple smart TVs and IoT devices, our WiFi was finally starting to buckle. Hardwiring the high-demand areas was the only solution. Performance & Build: • Future-Proofing (Cat 6a): Moving to Cat 6a gives me great peace of mind. Supporting up to 10Gbps means this installation won't need to be touched for years, easily handling the high-bandwidth needs of modern gaming and 4K streaming simultaneously. • Stable Connection: Since installing, the stability compared to WiFi is night and day. It’s significantly less bulky than standard Ethernet cables, making it much easier to tuck along baseboards or run through tight spaces without being an eyesore. Excellent quality and performance. Nice to have 20 flat cable clips included but had to buy more for 30m. Didn't see any information on the page about the width of the cable so had no idea what cable clips to buy. The seller needs to add this. Anyway, for people who need to buy more, you need 7mm clips (or 6mm for tighter fit). The cable width is about 6mm. **UPDATE** One thing to note.. as the cable thickness is very thin and and only around 6mm wide, I found that fitting on flat surfaces was pretty much problem free. But fitting upwards like up and over door frames can cause the cable to not lay flat enough. The cable tended to stick out loosely along the run. So I had to use more clips to keep it flat and tidy. Apart from that this is a great product and especially good under carpets. Recommended!

Very long, very flat, comes with custom clips that are ideal for securing this cable or skirting or beading. Hides itself nicely on the skirting and around door frames, but this would also do well between floorboards under carpet. It's very flat, it would certainly fit between the boards in my house, so that's a route to consider if you've got carpet. Won't work for me, we've got laminate and I can't be bothered scraping that up and putting it back just to route a cable. Can confirm that this cable does handle gigabit speeds, I have a 900 Mbit fibre connection and the picture is of the speed I get using this cable to feed a TP-Link ethernet switch. It's certainly going to handle what it needs to, so I've no reason to doubt that this cable is what it purports to be: CAT6. My connection speed has never been this fast or this reliable with my old... somewhat jury rigged... setup. With the cable being so flat and small form factor I'd have expected it to be weak, but it's not. It handled a lot of swinging around and shaking as I fit it, it soaked a few missed hammer strikes just fine, so it's strong. The connectors are as you'd expect and have a satisfying click with a positive action on the latch and a small protective cover. The cable is bright white. I'm very pleased. Took me 20 minutes to run this cable around my living room and in to my back room where our computers live. Now, at last, there's no visible cable spanning walls and our Internet connection can make full use of the speed available from the router. Genuinely very pleased indeed.

Kabel doet het feilloos op Gigabit, ook op kritische netwerkadapters zoals JMicron. Had alleen niet gezien dat het een platte kabel is.

Perfecto cable Ethernet: aprovecha casi todo el gigabit que tengo contratado, funciona muy rápido y se puede pasar fácilmente por debajo de las puertas. Los clips incluidos son muy útiles. En mi caso lo he colocado por encima del rodapié y prácticamente no se nota. Recomendación: mide bien lo que te hace falta, a mi me ha sobrado muchísimo.

Ho acquistato il cavo Nixsto da 30 metri, Cat 6, per connettere il mio PC al modem in un'altra stanza, ed è stata una scelta perfetta! Il cavo è robusto, di ottima fattura e si nota subito la solidità dei connettori RJ45, che si inseriscono facilmente e mantengono una connessione stabile senza problemi. La velocità di trasferimento dei dati è impeccabile: non ho riscontrato alcuna perdita di segnale o rallentamenti, anche durante lo streaming in 4K o il gioco online. Essendo un cavo Cat 6, è perfetto per le connessioni gigabit e supporta una larghezza di banda elevata, quindi ideale anche per chi ha una connessione internet veloce. Caratteristiche principali che mi hanno colpito: Lunghezza ideale: con i 30 metri posso facilmente coprire grandi distanze senza dover usare prolunghe o adattatori. Flessibilità: il cavo è abbastanza flessibile da essere posato senza problemi, ma abbastanza resistente da non rischiare di danneggiarsi facilmente. Connettori RJ45 di alta qualità: garantiscono una connessione stabile e sicura, senza interferenze. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo: considerando la lunghezza e la qualità, è davvero un acquisto vantaggioso. L'unico punto negativo che posso segnalare (ma è davvero una piccolezza) è che la confezione non include una guaina protettiva per evitare che il cavo si danneggi durante l'installazione in ambienti esterni, ma per l'uso interno è perfetto. In generale, lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca un cavo Ethernet affidabile e veloce, senza spendere una fortuna.
