Small Pet Select Alfalfa Hay Pet Food, 2 lb.

My bunny loved this extremely fresh and top quality Alfalfa hay. He refused to eat the previous brands like oxbow and I was having a hard time getting him to eat the necessary amount of hay. As soon as I introduced him to small pet select hay he devoured it in minutes. He absolutely loves it. Although pricey but the quality speaks for itself. I'll be purchasing it again for my little guy.

I have 6 Holland Lop Bunnies They all just LOVE this Small Pet Select Alfalfa Hay ! And can"t seem to get enough of it they love it that much !! The oldest Bunny is 3 years old and the youngest bunny is 9 weeks old and they both eat it every day morning noon and night !! They always let me know they want the Alfalfa Hay and gobble it right up !!

Both my rabbit and my guinea pig are obsessed with this hay. I never saw my pets eat something with such gusto. I have a very very picky rabbit eater and if it got her stamp of approval, it works for me. The hay looks fresh and smells nicer than store bought brand we purchased in the past. Great product!

Lots of hay kinda dusty but good quality

I’m the toughest critic I know, except for my bun.. he’s a bit more pickier than even I am. I ordered a 10# box of Small Pet Select Alfalfa Hay because of a commercial I had seen on tv. After coming online and reading the awesome reviews about this hay, we had to try it. I ordered it and to my surprise, it arrived the following day! Turbo shipping! Haha As soon as I opened the box, my Willow ran full speed to me and the box. He sniffed the hay and immediately started chowing down! I couldn’t (and still can’t) believe it! My spoiled, stuck up, full of attitude and spunky bun, actually loves the hay! He’s never reacted so positively to a brand before!! Love it! Thank you! I’ll definitely be back for more!

I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting when I ordered this because we always use Oxbow for pellets and hay but Oxbow didn’t have alfalfa hay that could be shipped at the moment and I have a lion head that just recently gave birth so I needed it. But I’m extremely upset with the way this hay arrived. I ordered a 5 pound box I would say that the box plus the hay together equal 5 pounds, but not the hay itself. It was a solid brick and dry, and I couldn’t even break it up because it felt like I was grabbing thorn bushes. It tore my fingers apart. I get that it’s hit or miss when it comes to hay but it was most definitely not worth the money. I will most definitely be sticking with oxbow. However I never have a problem with this companies hemp pellets. My lion head loves to dig in them. And they save me from cleaning up a lot of messes.

We just picked up our two dwarf baby bunnies one month ago. Our bunnies are now 3 months old. I purchased this product before we picked up the bunnies. It lasted about 2-3 weeks. I do not use it as litter, just as food in their hay box. I have decided not to purchase this product again. I live in an area where alfalfa hay and other grass hays are readily abundant and fresh. I purchased this product because I was not sure how much hay my bunnies would go through. After the Small Pet Select Alfalfa Hay was just about finished, I purchased a compact bale of alfalfa hay from my local feed store. This bale fit inside of an extra large cotton canvas laundry bag which I store in the garage. It does not take up much space. This hay is much greener and has a nice fresh smell compared to the hay I purchased from Small Pet Select. Since I have so much of it now, I can share it with our two chickens. They love it. All in all, I will be purchasing our bunnies hay from now on at the feed store. It is fresher and way less expensive when compared to the Small Pet Select brand. However, if you do not have local access to a feed store, then this product may be for you. At least the shipping was fast.

Heu ist sehr gut, beste Qualität bis jetzt gekauft habe. Nicht so grün wie ich dachte, aber richt sehr frisch und nicht staubig. Das Heu ist mit viel Blättern und lange Halme. Meine Chinchillas freuen sich sehr drauf.

First of all, I was a little skeptical as the price is slightly higher than most places, but the reviews were good and I've actually seen the name before on Lennon the bunny. I needed this fast as my order to another seller didn't ever show up. I've never been so grateful for an order not arriving in my life, as this hay is absolutely amazing! So fresh, you can smell it before even opening the box. Really lovely quality strands of hay and it was packaged with a lovely hand written note, too. My only regret is not finding you sooner! My buns are now incredibly happy. Well worth the extra few pounds! Thank you!!!

This is really nice, fresh smelling hay with lots of alfalfa! My pets love it and it lasts ages, so good value for money. I buy it as often as needed. My pets wouldn't be without it! Update 21/12/2022: Wow, what happened? I've bought this on 16 occasions. I usually get a box of fresh hay and lots of alfalfa. Today I received a plastic bag of dry, crispy hay and hardly any alfalfa. Hopefully this was a one off. I won't buy it again if this is what I now get.
