These were perfect, and the grandkids loved them. They were able to play outside at night and find all of their birdies because the birdies were bright, strong, and large enough to see. absolutely worth the money.

These are awesome! It adds another layer of difficulty to the game,playing at night. But in New England, in the fall, night comes early. So enjoy dinner, relax,then go play Badminton. They are durable, I don't think you can change the batteries, but at this price it does not matter.

They work great for night time. I had to take a star, because at times they will shut off while hitting. They are pretty fun overall and the kids start busy for a while.

We weren't sure whether to try these or not but we're glad we did so much so that we went ahead and purchased 2 more sets. The birdies are well balanced and with a sturdy nose cone so we're able to hit them very high into the sky. Each birdie glows a different color (red, green, blue, yellow) and one of them has a rainbow effect. The funniest thing about these is that the ones that glow red attracted bats!! Yes, we live in an area that has bats but we didn't know it at the time. The bats acted like it was a drug for them as they danced in the sky next to them. Quite entertaining we thought. You won't be disappointed with these birdies. You can turn on and off the light so you can use them in the daytime too.

My wife and I play badminton every day. These shuttlecocks are very responsive and the led lights make them easy to see at night. Great value for the money. Updated 1/7/21 - battery life is very short. Maybe 10-20 hours at best. They also tend to flicker during play when being hit during an average match (non-forceful contact). Dropped rating to 3 stars.

We bought these for badminton in the dark at the trailer. They are fun and work as described! The weight of them helps in the windy weather as well.

I wasn't expecting it to fash, but once we all got used to it, these were a great bargain! The light is strong and consistent. One took a terrible beating backwoods, in water, mud, steppes on, left on for 3 hours as a sensory aid and it still flies.

The photo leads you to believe that the plastic feathers are colored which is not the case. They are all white. The brightness of the LED lights in insufficient to provide much of a glow. I wish I had not bought this.
