The leather is thick and scrumptious and smells like it should (like tanned leather, not plastic or chemicals). The handles are smooth. The stitching is even inside and out. The zippers are solid and feel sturdy. The cream color is a tiny bit more beige than I wanted, but it's such a gorgeous handbag that I don't mind it being slightly different than I expected. It's such a neutral shade, anyways! This is the type of purse that would look superb with a silk scarf tied around the handles. It rests well on the shoulder. The only thing I would change is I'd add purse feet because I feel they add class to any handbag--and extend its life--but the purse stands upright and keeps its structure as is, so it's not a big deal. The shipping time was as promised (a little over a week, since it comes from the UK). It was very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and then properly boxed--no chance it'd crush in transit. It came with a dust bag. I would recommend this item with no hesitation. In fact, I'm considering ordering another two--a black one for my mother, and a red or blue one for me! It’s stunning. Leather seems high quality. Zipper works perfect. Love the fact that the zipper runs all they way around the bag. I am a “BIG” bag fan, but finding they can get heavy and cumbersome. This bag fits everything…large wallet, makeup bag, glass case, phone, keys, and a water bottle. It fits perfect on my shoulder and under arm. It stands nicely. Inner pockets. If I could improve upon it, i would add an outside pocket. But it’s awesome just they way it is.
