These work great and are very reliable
The Klein Tools VDV826-703 Pass-Thru Modular Data Plug is a game-changer for anyone working with network cabling. This high-quality pass-through connector makes wiring effortless and error-free, especially if you’re crimping multiple cables. Here are some standout features that make it a must-have: 1. Ease of Use: The pass-through design allows the wires to pass entirely through the connector, giving you a clear view of the alignment before crimping. This feature minimizes wiring mistakes and saves time – perfect for professionals and DIYers alike. 2. Reliable Connection: I’ve noticed a solid and secure connection with every crimp, which is essential for network performance. The design ensures that each wire is fully engaged in the connector, which reduces the chances of poor connectivity or weak signal. 3. Durable Build: Klein Tools is known for quality, and this product is no exception. It feels sturdy and reliable in hand, and I’m confident it will stand up to repeated use in tough environments. 4. Saves Time and Materials: With the pass-through design, there’s less need to trim excess wire manually, which not only saves time but also reduces waste. This small detail has made a big difference in my workflow. In summary, the Klein Tools VDV826-703 Pass-Thru is one of the best connectors I’ve used. It’s well-designed, durable, and makes network cabling easier and more reliable. Highly recommended for anyone serious about network installation or maintenance!

These make a huge difference
They say you get what you pay for, and when it comes to Ethernet terminations, I learned that lesson the hard way. After doing an entire job with connectors from an unknown supplier, my client called me back furious—connections were failing left and right. After some troubleshooting, I realized the cheap termination heads were the culprit. And just like that, my reputation took a hit over a few bucks in savings. Never again. Since switching to Klein pass-through connectors, I haven’t had a single issue. These ends are high quality, easy to work with, and deliver reliable connections every time. The pass-through design makes it so much easier to verify wire order before crimping, saving time and frustration on the job. Plus, they hold up over time—no more callbacks for bad terminations. A good Ethernet installation is only as strong as its weakest component, and cheap connectors will absolutely come back to haunt you. Spend the extra money on these, and you’ll save yourself a world of headaches down the line. Bottom line: Get quality, get Klein, and keep your clients happy. These little details make a huge difference.

Lifesavers for amateurs
Way back when I was an engineering intern I used to have to crimp Ethernet cables using the old non pass-thru connectors. It was extremely frustrating trying to get all the wires lined up in order and the same length and I hated it with a passion. I've since found these for home use and they are fantastic! I can crimp these while up on a ladder using a phone flashlight without a problem. The wires push through very easily and the crimps are solid. I have about 100 of these both inside and outside my house that I've installed over the past several years and have yet to have one fail. Yeah, they're not cheap, but as an amateur I save a lot of time and frustration compared to the non pass-thru type. I would just waste a bunch of those and several inches of cable with all the bad insertions and crimps.

Easy to use and work great
Everyone I have used so far has been good easy to use with the right crimper and all tested good if you get them out of order you can see it before you crimp them and you can pull them back out and put them in the right order before you crimp them I bought the different colored boots so when I make a patch cable I use the same color on both ends for identification and the next cable I use a different color makes it easier to keep up with which colored cable you are looking for

Great, but too expensive.
This is a review of four related products purchased here on Amazon. 1. Klein Tools VDV826-703 Pass-Thru™ Modular Data Plug, CAT6, 50-Pack (ASIN B076PRM7W8) 2. Klein Tools VDV226-005 Compact Pass-Thru™ Modular Crimper (ASIN B07R3GK9FQ) 3. Soft Plastic Ethernet RJ45 Cable Connector Boots by Copapa (ASIN B07219KGC4) 4. H!Fiber 1Gbe Ethernet Network Adapter (ASIN B074PPRQQK) I’m using CAT 6 UTP (23 AWG) that I bought from a local home center. 1. I found the Klein Tools VDV826-703 Pass-Thru™ Modular Data Plug, (CAT6, 50-Pack) to be easy to use. This is my first-time using pass-thru connectors, and I have mixed feelings, but that’s not what this is about. The 23 AWG wires fit in snuggly but did require a bit of convincing to pass thru. They are more expensive than some others that are available, but I know these will work perfectly, especially with a same brand crimper. 2. The Klein Tools VDV226-005 Compact Pass-Thru™ Modular Crimper did its job flawlessly. The insulation is held tightly in place, the crimp felt secure, and the pass-thru wires were cut perfectly flush. I still need to try this with cheap plugs, to see if they are cut just as flush, but these work great with their own. 3. While I don’t usually use boots, I decided to give them a shot as they make the wires look more “finished”. I purchased the blue Soft Plastic Ethernet RJ45 Cable Connector Boots by Copapa. While they didn’t cost much, they were very soft and fit okay. I wish they were a little tighter around the wire, but that can vary from brand to brand. Overall, I’m happy with them. 4. Once the cables were completed, I plugged them into a H!Fiber NIC (Intel I350-T4 chipset). They all fit nicely together, even with the boots. That network card is not the V2, and that was expected. The V2s are harder to find and there are no performance differences. The revision was made to fix a slight power surge during power-on. The network card performed flawlessly with pfSense and I was able to configure two LAGGs with LACP support. One to a Cisco managed switch, and the other to my cable modem (SB8200) but I’ll save those for a different review. This card is working perfectly.

Kline products help get the job done quickly and properly!
I’ve been running CAT6 cable in my home for faster connection speeds and enhanced security. I started by running 100’ cables and just using cable tiles to manage the excess cable. That quickly grew old and I wanted cable just the right length and not have to see mounds of excess cable at my server cabinet or find I was just sort by a few feet for longer runs. I purchased the Kline VDV226-110 Ratcheting Modular Data Cable Crimper, the VDV526-052 Cable Tester and VDV826 Pass-Thru Modular Data Plugs some strain relief boots and a box with 1,000 feet of CAT6e cable. Simply put Kline products make things easier. Pros: - The pass-thru modular data plug are made to work with the Kline VDV226-110. - With the Kline name, I didn’t have to worry if they would work with what I had. Cons: - The clear plastic makes it a little challenging to see the openings. - There’s a small learning curve to making a good connection. - Don’t forget to put on the strain relief boots before you run the wire through the pass Summary: Kline makes great equipment. It was worth the small investment to have tools that work again and again. Consider buying a label maker so you can label them as you go. I found the number of items in my server cabinet keeps increasing and I’m in the process of labeling all the wires to simplify life. Color coding with the strain relief boots is an option but quality labels that don’t fall off really help.

They work perfectly with the Klein pass-through crimper and AWG23 solid copper cable
Not sure why some folks have reported problems using these with solid copper AWG23 ethernet cable. I needed to use solid copper & AWG23 for some security cameras (POE) and making a bunch of patch leads. After wiring up 4 cameras and around 10 patch leads, I've never had a single problem or issue with these connectors, they all work perfectly. I'm very pleased with how easy they are to use and the very neat & reliable connections they make. As long as you use the Klein pass-through crimper, and make sure you have around 1.5 inches of untwisted cable (straightened out properly) the wires can be threaded through very easily- just make sure you smooth the wires out carefully and hold them nice & flat & together when you thread them in. I also like the fact that when you've passed the wires through you can spread them out to easily check that you've inserted them correctly before you insert & crimp. Very nice system and easy to use when you know how.

These crimp perfect with the Klein VDV226110 Ratcheting Crimper!
If you use the Klein VDV226110 Ratcheting Crimper, these Pass-Thru CAT6 connectors are designed for it! They crimp perfect, and always test fine too. I've terminated over 500 of these and only ever had 1 not test right and that was most likely me rushing. Bit expensive, but you're paying for the Klein sticker on the box (and probably the quality too)

Qualité pro
Top. J’ai toujours fais mes fiches moi même avec des prises non passante. C’est le jour et la nuit. Plus besoin de dénuder au mm près. Les 8 brins dépassent et sont coupés bien à fleur de la fiche.
